Keep getting around for £2 this Spring, with First Eastern Counties!

There are plenty of amazing sights to see and new memories to make, lots of evenings out with old friends and funny selfies to take, from pub quizzes with mates to that special first date, with places to explore and cocktails to pour... because when travel costs less, you can do a whole lot more.

And all single fares are £2 or less making it even cheaper to get out and explore by bus*

It's really easy to take advantage of these great discounted single fares - simply buy yours on the bus with contactless or cash...just tell the driver where you're travelling to and they'll do the rest. 

And if you're going there and back, if the journey you're making has return tickets available** you'll be able to buy one on the bus for a maximum of £4, so you won't need to buy a separate ticket for your second journey. 

Or you could buy a 10-trip ticket on the First Bus App, and pay just £20 for any ten single journeys anytime over the next 28 days from purchase.

In areas where day tickets are used for more than one journey*** then these will stay at their current great value prices for unlimited travel for the whole day in your chosen zone.  And you'll still be able to make seriously big savings when you go as a group, with our High5 tickets for unlimited travel for up to 5 people.  Find all the details of these below.

Norwich - our Norwich Zone

• Head out with the family all over the city and as far afield as Acle, Beccles, Bungay or Dereham, for as little as £2 each for a whole day's unlimited travel with a High5 group ticket* for just £8.30
• Or if you're travelling solo, adults pay just £6 a day for the whole Norwich zone (£4 5-19s), or just £5 for unlimited shorter trips within the Norwich Inner Zone (£3.70 5-19s, or £6.80 High5 group).

Norfolk & North Suffolk coast - our Coastal Zone

• Head out with the family all along the coast from Martham to Southwold, and inland as far as Beccles, Bungay or Acle for as little as £1.80 each for a whole day's unlimited travel with a High5 group ticket* for just £9.
• And if you're travelling solo, adults pay just £8 a day for the whole Coastal zone (£6 for 5-19s), or just £5 for unlimited trips within either the Great Yarmouth or Lowestoft town zones (£3.70 5-19s).

Norwich and the Norfolk & North Suffolk coast - our Explorer Zone

• Head out with the family all over the city and all along the coast, for as little as £2.10 each for a whole day's unlimited travel with a High5 group ticket* for just £10.50.  Our Coastlink buses run between the coast and the city up to every 15 minutes, seven days a week.
• Or if you're travelling solo, adults pay just £10 a day, with a young person (5-19) ticket costing just £7.50.

*Terms & Conditions for £2 Single Fares scheme:

• The £2 single fare is available on any regular bus route operated by First Eastern Counties Buses (find a list of those here).  It is not valid on Costessey Park & Ride services 510 & 511 or on any school/college services (find a list of those here).
• £2 single fares are available at all times of the day, seven days a week.
• £2 maximum single fares applies equally to Adult and Young Person tickets.  Where tickets are normally priced at under £2, these will continue to be sold at their current prices.
• £4 maximum day return tickets are available on certain services**
• Payment can be made on bus via Contactless, Apple Pay, Google Pay or cash.
• Passengers must state their destination to the driver at the time of boarding so the correct ticket can be issued.
• You can buy a 10-trip ticket for £20 on the First Bus App wherever these are currently priced at over £20 (note: all 10 single journeys must be used within 28 days of purchase).  

** Return tickets are available on Ipswich Reds services and for certain longer journeys on Coastlink, Coastal Clipper and excel services.
