Costessey Park & Ride

If you need to travel by car to the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital, Norwich Research Park or the University of East Anglia, then you'll find it easier when you leave your car at the dedicated Costessey Park & Ride site, and hop on the bus to your destination.

Operating Monday to Friday throughout the year, buses run on two dedicated routes to & from the car park up to every 15 minutes on two direct routes.

Costessey Park & Ride is situated on Long Lane, just off the A47/A1074 junction, adjacent to the Royal Norfolk Showground.

510 Costessey Park & Ride - Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital

  • Buses run up to every 15 minutes at peak times, and up to every 30 mins off peak (approx 0925 to 1455)
  • First bus from Costessey P&R 0630 - last bus from N&NU Hospital 2045
  • Journey time - 10 mins
  • Buses also call at Norwich Research Park (Colney Lane)

Fares

A flat fare ticket is available for all journeys, either single or return - Adults £1 | Young Person (5-19) 70p - pay on the bus with contactless or cash

Concession pass holders can use the service free of charge after 0930 (normal fares apply before this time).

Travel is free for all N&NUH Staff on production of their ID Badge.

511 Costessey Park & Ride - University of East Anglia

  • Buses run up to every 15 minutes at peak times, and up to every 30 mins off peak and in the university summer vacation
  • First bus from Costessey P&R 0635 - last bus from N&NU Hospital 2010
  • Journeys after 1800 operate via N&NU Hospital as service 510
  • Journey time - 10 mins (20 mins after 1800)
