Planned changes

Service X21 - Diversion - From 19:00 pm

Due to overnight carriageway repairs, the X21 service will use the following diversion; 

Towards Norwich: Will serve the stop at Notleys and then Park Parade South (KFC), London Road, Mill Road, Horn Hill, Tom Crisp Way, Carlton Road, The Avenue to London Road South and then normal route. 

Buses towards Lowestoft are unaffected.

Route Diversion, Services 11,11A, 12

Due to a part closure on Wroxham Road Sprowston Park & Ride services will be on diversion heading into the city.

services may depart earlier that the stated time, so please allow extra time for your journey 

Due to a Drain repairs on Red Lion Street, stand BK & BL Will be closed on Tuesday 14th July 2026  between 10:00 - 13:00 

For services 25,26,26A

Please use stand BH on Theatre Street.

Temporary Changes to Services in Easton

From Wednesday 1st July, Highways England will be partially closing the Easton roundabout. This closure will mean that First Bus Excel services cannot turn right into Easton village.

We are pleased to say that a viable diversion route, using Bluebell Way and Fennel Drive has been assessed, and that Excel journeys toward Norwich will be able to serve the village.

All Norwich bound journeys will exit the A47 at the Longwater junction, then head westbound in to Easton, turning around using the diversion route.

Norfolk County Council are arranging for a temporary stop to be located just before the junction with Bluebell Way. Please note: this will be the only stop that Norwich bound Excel services use. Excel buses heading toward Dereham, King's Lynn and Peterborough will not serve this stop

Journeys from Norwich are unaffected and will continue to serve Easton as normal.

A further phase of works will be in place from the 1st August. This will see the westbound exit on to the Easton roundabout closed too. We are working on options for this phase and will update this page for that asap.

Service 28

Monday 15th June 2026 to 13th July 2026 for 4 weeks  

Due to part road closure at Breckfarm Lane, we will be unable to serve Kingswood Avenue between the above dates 

Buses will divert via Windsor Chase, to Pendlesham Rise (to continue route) in both directions.

Please use your nearest stop, either Pendlesham Rise-The Otter or Fakenham Road.
