Parent & Child Karaoke, The Grosvenor in Felixstowe
– every Thursday in August
Summer Holidays are here, and what better way to spend them than bonding with your children at the new Parent & Child Karaoke. A good way to build confidence, make friends, have a bite to eat or just simply sing and dance. It’s going to be lots of fun! Start practising now - this will run every week in August: 3rd,10th,17th, 24th and the 31st. Time: 2.30pm until 4.30pm. There will be prizes for the best singer, and sweets for every child!

Animals in the Art Gallery - All Summer, Wolsey Art Gallery
A family-friendly exhibition in the Wolsey Art Gallery, Christchurch Mansion, exploring British wildlife alongside artistic depictions of animals in all shapes and sizes, from the Middle Ages to the present day. Visitors can see some familiar animals from Ipswich Museum’s Natural History collection, who are creating a new home in the Wolsey Art Gallery!

Jurassic Fort - All Summer, Languard Fort
Roar! Explore the fort to hunt out the dinosaur visitors on this fun summer holiday children's trail.
Trail sheets are £2 – enquire at the ticket office upon entry.

Christchurch Park Market - 23rd July & 20th August,
Christchurch Park
Looking for something to do in Ipswich on a Sunday? Come and spend an hour or two at Christchurch Park Market where you will find a wonderful selection of stalls from local producers and artisans.
The market is FREE to entre and there is plenty of seating to relax with a coffee and bite to eat from one of the street food vendors. Products that can be found include; artisan foods, fresh fruit and vegetables, flowers, baked goods, coffee, craft beers, local spirits, candles, handmade jewellery, homewares, pet products, and arts & craft.

Wild Families: Helping Hedgehogs in Christchurch Park – 1st August
Join in with a session all about hedgehogs! Learn about this incredible species and how you can help them, whilst building your own hedgehog home and hedgehog highway plaque in the beautiful and historic Christchurch Park. Suitable for ages 6-11 years. Ensure you book ahead as places are limited – don’t miss out!

Cold Water Dip for Shelter - 9th September,
Felixstowe Pier
Don't forget your towel! Swim together to raise awareness and funds for Shelter, a housing and homeless charity. There will also be a kids sandcastle competition, and a raffle.

Ipswich Vegan Market - 17th September,
central Ipswich
A bimonthly market of vegan and plant-based foods, drinks, treats and street food from the best makers and bakers from across Ipswich and Suffolk including favourites such as Gemma Doodle Donuts, The Norwegian Bakers, Riverford Organics, Pickled Jar Company, Coriander Kitchen, Bagel & Beigel and many more. Entry is FREE and dogs are welcome!
