The Bath Road in Saltford between The Globe and Keynsham roundabout just prior to the by-pass will be closed overnight to services 39 and X39 between 19:00 and 07:00 on Tuesday 11th and Wednesday 12th October (two nights) for carriageway works.
Please note the last X39 service in the evening from Bristol that will operate as normal through Saltford is the 18:20 departure and the last X39 service from Bath will be the 18:30.
In the morning the first X39 from Bristol that will operate as normal is the 06:30 and the first service from Bath will be the 06:48.
All other services after and before these times will divert as below.
Service 39 and X39 heading towards Bristol will operate normal route as far as the Globe roundabout but instead of exiting onto the Bath Road will turn left before onto the A39 Wells Road as far as the traffic lights by the Man with Two Heads then turn right and follow the road through to the bottom of The Wellsway and turn right onto Bath Road where the 39 will turn around at the roundabout to resume normal route back up Bath Road and the X39 will turn left onto the Keynsham by-pass to resume normal route.
Service 39 and X39 heading towards Bath will operate the reverse of the above.
Regretfully all bus stops between and including Corston Lane and Ellsbridge House will not be served and passengers are advised to board or alight at either The Globe or the Unity Road bus stops on Bath Road which will be served by both services.
