Kids go free

Kids Go Free is back, bringing festive cheer and real savings to families across the West of England. Thanks to the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority, we’re helping more young people explore and enjoy everything our region has to offer.

From Saturday 20th December to Sunday 4th January, children aged 5-15 can travel absolutely free on our services (excluding A1 and A3 Airport Flyer services). They don't need to buy a ticket, they can just hop on board!

Bamfield, Whitchurch - (37, m1) - CLOSURE - Monday 15th to Wednesday 17th December

Bamfield in Whitchurch will be closed to services 37 and m1 between 09:30 and 17:00 on Monday 15th, Tuesday 16th and Wednesday 17th December to facilitate carriageway works.

Services 37 and m1 will divert via Hengrove Way and Whitchurch Lane in both directions..

Regretfully all bus stops on Bamfield will not be served and passengers are advised to board or alight at Hengrove Park/Skills Academy or Creswicke Road (service 37) or Hengrove Park or Filwood Broadway (service m1).

16	Whitchurch - Bristol City Centre - Fishponds	-Due to severe traffic disruption at St John's Lane on the route from Whitchurch to the City Centre, buses between 07.25 and 09.10 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays only will divert via Broad Walk and Wells Road, missing out the following stops: Broad Walk Square (B), Stockwood Crescent, Park Avenue, Monmouth Street. Stops along the diversion will be used instead. This will be until Thursday 18 December. -Glass Wharf bus stop on Avon Street at Temple Meads will not be served in both directions until April 2026. Buses are diverting via Midland Road and Silverthorne Lane in both directions.

25	Bristol City Centre - Fishponds	Service 25 is suffering from delays, particularly in peak times due to congestion, especially around the Eastgate Centre.
