Belvedere Road Bascule Bridge, Lowestoft will be closed for overnight works from 2100hrs to 0400hrs, Monday 3rd June 2024 to Wednesday 5th June 2024

Affected journeys towards Lowestoft will divert from London Road South left Carlton Road right Tom Crisp Way, left Waveney Drive, Victoria Road, Bridge Road, Normanston Drive and Denmark Road to line of route.

Services towards Norwich will operate the diversion in reverse and then from Carlton Road left London Road South to Notleys and then right onto the seafront.

Service Disruptions 02/06/25

Services 510, 21, 21A, 26

Services have been diverting out of the back of NNUH since 08:45.

As a result, we are unable to serve the Research Park, both directions.

We an drop off customers at a safe space near the multistory as an alternative if required.

Road now reopened and normal routes being operated.

Service B (Excel)

Wisbech Road, Thorney is closed until 15.00, we will be temporarily serving the 2 stops on the causeway, after the Rose and Crown traffic lights. (1 inbound and 1 outbound stop).

We are unable to serve Bedford School or Thorney Fish and Chip Shop.

Service 40 - Barrett Rd (Ring Road)

This road is closed until 8th June, both ways, between the Long John Hill traffic lights and the A146 Trowse bypass.

Service 40 will divert by operating along the old route via Bracondale.

There will be no service on City Rd/Long John Hill during this closure.

Acle Straight Evening closure - Service X1

A47 Acle Straight closure

Tuesday 27th May End Date Friday 18th July Duration 20:00-06:00, weeknights for resurfacing works.

Affected services will need to operate via Filby in both directions.

A47 closure - Excel A/B/C

The A47 will be closed overnight for the next 22 nights.

The Excel service will be unable to serve Necton, Little Fransham, Wendling, Scarning and New Scarning during this closure as we will be diverting the service. We will still be able to serve Dereham and the rest on the route.

Bernham Road, Hellesdon (37/37B)

From Monday 21st April to Friday 25th July, Bernham Road in Hellesdon will be closed to enable Norfolk County Council to carry out footway reconstruction works, which will have a severe impact on our Purple Line 37/37B services.

In the Hellesdon area, these services will be split in half on Monday to Saturdays daytimes - with one bus an hour operating a loop of Bush Road, Raymond Road & Reepham Road, and one bus an hour operating a loop of Coppice Avenue & Woodland Road. Please see the timetable below (or attachment) for details on bus times on either side of the loop during this closure.

Evening services (shown below as serving both Bush Road & Woodland Road Stores) will operate both loops to serve as many stops as possible during these times where services operate less frequently.

Services south of The Bull roundabout, and all other Purple Line services are not affected by this, and will continue to operate at the same times as now.
