Please see below various road closures to facilitate Remembrance Sunday Parades on Sunday 9th November in the South Gloucestershire area on Sunday 9th November.

Kingswood

Cecil Road, Moravian Road, Regent Street and the High Street in Kingswood will be closed in order to facilitate Remembrance Day Parade between 13:45 and 14:15.

There will be no diversions in place for this short period but there will be small delays to services within the area.

Staple Hill

Various roads in Staple Hill will be closed in order to facilitate Remembrance Day Parade between 10:30 – 11:00 and 10:15 -11:00.

There will be no diversion in place as this will be a rolling road closure and the delays to services should be minimal.

Warmley

The High Street (A420) in Warmley will be closed to service 19 and 43 in order to facilitate Remembrance Day Parade between 10:30 and 12:00.

Services will be diverted from Tower Lane along the A4174 to resume normal route at Deanery Road (A420).

Regretfully the bus stops between and including St Ivel Way on Tower Road North and Baden Road on the A420 will not be served and passengers are advised to board or alight at either the Tower Road South bus stops or Tenniscourt Road bus stops on the A420.

Yate

Station Road in Yate will be closed to Y6 in order to facilitate Remembrance Day Parade between 09:15 and 10:00.

Services Y1, Y2 and Y6 will be diverted via Kennedy Way and Link Road in both directions.

Regretfully the White Lion, Morrisons and bus stops passengers are advised to board or alight at either Yate Shopping Centre or Bow Martin on Station Road.

Frampton Cotterell

Church Road in Frampton Cotterell will be closed in order to facilitate Remembrance Day Parade between 14:30 and 17:00.

Services Y1, Y2 and Y6 will operate normal as far as the junction of Bristol Road and Church Road then continue along Bristol Road, onto Yate Road and turn right at the roundabout to continue along Yate Road and turn left onto Badminton Road to resume normal routes.

Regretfully the bus stops between and including School Road on Church Road and Park and Ride bus stops on Badminton Road will not be served and passengers are advised to board or alight at either Court Road on Bristol Road and Stover Road on Badminton Road in either direction.

Chipping Sodbury

Various Roads in Chipping Sodbury will be closed in order to facilitate Remembrance Day Parade between 13:00 and 16:00.

Service Y1 towards Bristol are to operate normal route as far as the end of St Johns Way then turn around at the roundabout and back down St Johns Way to resume normal route at Cotswold Way roundabout.

Service Y6 heading towards Chipping Sodbury are to operate normal route as far as Yate Bus Station then turn left out of the Bus Station around roundabout onto Link Road, left into Kennedy Way, second left at roundabout into St Johns Way to its end and terminate and commence your journey at the Caroline Close bus stop.

Service Y6 heading towards Bus Station are to use the roundabout at the end of the road to turn around and go back up St Johns Way then reverse of the above.

Regretfully all bus stops between and including Wickwar Road and The Ridge on Station Road will not be served and passengers are advised to board or alight at either Yate Shopping Centre or Caroline Close bus stop on St Johns Way for either direction.
