Please see below various road closures to facilitate Remembrance Sunday in the North Somerset area area on Sunday 9th November.

Weston-super-Mare

Various roads in Weston super Mare will be closed in order to facilitate Remembrance Day Parade between 10:25 and 11:00 on Sunday 9th November.

Due to the small amount of time, the closure is in place for there will be no road closures in place but services may suffer some delays to services.

Worle

The High Street in Worle will be closed in order to facilitate Remembrance Day Parade between 10:30 and 11:30 on Sunday 9th November.

Service 6 heading towards Worle will operate normal route as far as Baytree Road then resume normal route at Mead Vale.

Regretfully the bus stops between and including Westbrook Road on Milton Road and Annandale Avenue on New Bristol Road will not be served and passengers are advised to board or alight at either Cedar Avenue bus stop in Baytree Road or Raven Close bus stop in Mead Vale.

Service 6 heading towards Weston will diver from Locking Road into Milton Road to resume normal route.

Regretfully the bus stops between and including Annandale Road on New Bristol Road and Coronation Road bus stop on the High Street will not be served and passengers are advised to board or alight at the Spring Hill Drive bus stop on Milton Road.

Service 7 heading towards Worle, when reaching the end of Milton Road, instead of turning left into High Street turn next left onto Locking Road, left into Station Road and right at the mini roundabout into High Street (part unaffected) to resume normal route.

Regretfully the bus stops Coronation Road, Health Centre and The Maltings in the High Street will not be served and passengers are advised to board or alight at either Spring Hill Drive or Blackmoor bus stop on Bideford Road. The bus stops on New Bristol Road will also be observed.

Service 7 heading towards Locking Parklands will operate the reverse of the above to Locking Road then turn right at the mini roundabout into Baytree Road and left at the traffic lights into Milton Road to resume normal route.

Regretfully the bus stops between and including The Maltings on High Street and Westbrook Road on Milton Road will not be served and passengers are advised to board or alight at either the Blackmoor bus stop on Bideford Road or Baytree Road bus top on Milton Road. The bus stops on New Bristol Road/Locking Road will also be observed.

Nailsea

Hannah More Road in Nailsea will be closed in order to facilitate Remembrance Day Parade between 10:15 and 11:30 on Sunday 9th November.

Service X9 heading towards Bristol will operate along the Perrings as normal but instead of turning left into Whiteoak Way will continue along The Perrings and turn right at its end onto Queens Road to resume normal route.

Regretfully all bus stops between and including Harptree Close and The Perrings West will not be served and passengers are advised to board or alight either the Sedgemoor Close bus stop or the bus stop on The Perrings (on the diversion route). The Hillcrest Road bus stop on Mizzymead Road is also an alternative.

Clevedon

Old Church Road at the junction of Elton Road in Clevedon will be closed in order to facilitate Remembrance Sunday Parade between 14:30 and 17:00 on Sunday 9th November.

Service X7 heading towards Clevedon, are to operate normal route as far as the roundabout on Central Way instead of going across into Southern Way Way are to turn right into Kenn Road to the next roundabout, left into Great Western Road, left at the traffic lights onto Old Church Road (part unaffected) to resume normal route at Elton Road.

Service X7 heading towards Bristol are to operate the reverse of the above.

Regretfully all bus stops between and including Tesco on Southern Way and Salthouse Fields on Old Bristol Road will not be served and passengers are advised to board or alight at either Chard Road on Central Way for both directions or Old Church Road bus stop on Elton Road heading towards Clevedon or the bus stop just after the Old Church Road junction or Chard Way.
