EMERGENCY UPDATE - A4174, Ring Road (part), Bromley Heath - CLOSURE PHASE 2 - (19 and m3) - Monday 3rd to Friday 7th November

Apologies for the very short notice of these changes but were only made aware by SGC late this afternoon.

The A4174 between the Wick Wick roundabout and Bromley Heath roundabout heading towards Bristol will be closed overnight to services 19 and m3 between 19:30 and 06:00 from Monday 3rd to Friday 7th November (five nights) to facilitate further carriageway works.

m3 will be diverted via Badminton Road, Downend and Fishponds to resume normal route at Stoke Lane. We are unable to use Bromley Heath Road as this is also closed for a number of weeks. 

Regretfully the Hambrook W-bound bus stop on the A4174 will not be served and the alternative will be the Willy Wicket bus stop.

Service m3 heading towards Emmerson Green are able to operate normal route.

Service 19 after serving Downend village will divert as service m3 above to resume normal route at Stoke Lane.

Service 19 heading towards Bath will operate via the A4174 to Badminton Road to Downend village to resume normal route

Regretfully the bus stops between and including Cleeve Park Road and Begbrook Lane will not be served and passengers are advised to board or alight at any bus stop along Badminton Road or the Downend village or UWE.

These diversions will put additional running time to the current timetable.
