The A4, Bath Road in Saltford between The Globe and Keynsham roundabout just prior to the by-pass will be closed overnight to services 39 and X39 between 20:00 and 07:00 from Tuesday 6th and Friday 16th May (nine nights excluding the weekend) to facilitate resurfacing works.
The last bus that will operate normal route through Saltford on the evenings will be the 19:15 service X39 journey from Bath and the 19:05 service X39 journey from Bristol.
All other journeys will be on diversion until the following mornings when the first through services from Bath will be the 06:47 service 39 journey from Lower Weston and the 06:55 service 39 journey from Bath Bus Station and the 06:30 service X39 journey from Bristol.
Service 39 and X39 heading towards Bristol will operate normal route as far as the Globe roundabout but instead of exiting onto the Bath Road will turn left before onto the A39 Wells Road as far as the traffic lights by the Man with Two Heads then turn right and follow the road through to the bottom of The Wellsway and turn right onto Bath Road where the 39 will turn around at the roundabout to resume normal route back up Bath Road and the X39 will turn left onto the Keynsham by-pass to resume normal route.
Service 39 and X39 heading towards Bath will operate the reverse of the above.
Regretfully all bus stops between and including Corston Lane and Ellsbridge House will not be served and passengers are advised to board or alight at either The Globe or the Unity Road bus stops on Bath Road which will be served in both services.

The Great Bristol Run will be taking place on Sunday 11th May 2025
Various roads around Central Bristol will be closed between 04:00 and 17:00 unless stated on service numbers below.
If your service is not listed it will operate normal route.
All services that are diverted along Upper Maudlin Street (past the BRI) will observe the bus stops on both sides of the road at that location alongside Park Row stops U4/U5.
Bus stop S1 (opposite McDonalds on Bond Street) and S8 (outside of Old Debenhams building on Bond Street) and on the slip roads at Old Market (Bond Street/Temple Way) will also be observed. There is a map on the attachments at the bottom of the page to assist you on what additional bus stops will be available.
The Ship Lane bus stop on Clarence Road (just after Bedminster Bridge roundabout) will be observed by all services from Bedminster towards the city centre.
There is an attachment at the bottom of the web page with a listing of alternative bus stops when services are on diversion.
There will be Supervisors at various locations to assist with any enquiries.

Service 41 heading towards Avonmouth will operate normal route as far as St James Barton roundabout then divert via Marlborough Street then Park Row to follow the service 4 route to sea mills Crossroads for normal route to Shirehampton.
From 15:00 to 17:00, services heading towards Kingswood will operate normal route as far as the Jacobs Wells roundabout then diver via Jacob Wells Road, Clifton Triangle then as above to Old Market.

From 13:30 services will divert from Bus Station via Haymarket, Marlborough Street, Park Row and Jacob Wells road to resume normal route on Hotwell Road.

Service m2 will divert from Park and Ride Site to use Brunel Way, Coronation Road, onto Temple Way up to Bond Street and turn at Rupert street to follow the reverse. This service will not be able to serve the guideway until 14:45 but will stay on Clarence Road/Temple Way diversion until 16:00. All bus stops on Coronation Road will be observed in both directions whilst the service is on diversion.
Services m3 & m4 will terminate and commence your journeys from Lewins Mead.

Due to ongoing travel improvement along the Victoria Street corridor, Victoria Street will be closed in the northbound direction (towards the city centre) from 31st March 2025. Temple Meads Station stop T7 at the end of Victoria Street will be closed.
Routes 1 and 2 towards Cribbs Causeway, 2a towards Brentry and 72 towards UWE Frenchay will instead stop at Temple Meads Station stop T2 on the main road (Temple Gate), and then divert via Temple Way and Counterslip to resume their normal route at Bristol Bridge. Buses will additionally serve stop T8 on Temple Way.
Routes 39/X39, 172, 349, 374, 375, 376, 376a and 522 will stop at Temple Meads Station stop T2 as normal, and then divert via Temple Way and Counterslip to resume their normal route at Bristol Bridge. These routes will also additionally stop at Temple Way stop T8 on the diversion.
