X1, X11 / Service Disruption

Service X1 - 

Due to a breakdown bus service X1 will not depart Lowestoft at 11:30 am.

We are hoping to resume service as soon as possible.

Service X21 - North Cove - 

The X21 service is currently unable to serve North Cove due to double parking by the local school.

We will therefore stay on the A146 and passengers will need to board/alight at the these stops.

Service 1 – Road works at Ormesby near Planet Spice.

Service 1 will divert, via Martham, the triangle (before Royal Oak ), North Road, returning to Yarmouth.

Services 21, 23, 23A, 24, 24B

Thursday 25th June 19.00 to 23.00 OUTBOUND ONLY

Due to Grapes Hill road closure, we will unable to serve Charles Sq, Adelaide St, St Philips Rd, Bowthorpe Rd, Holly Dr, and Winchcombe Rd stops  Outbound Only

Diversion - Earlham Rd, Guardian Rd

Services 11A, 13, 14A, Excel A

Due to Road works on part of Newmarket road on the evenings of 24th - 26th June Between 19:00-23:00

We are unable to serve stops - Leopold Road, Branksome Road, Judges Walk, Elveden Close

Due to the Royal Norfolk Show taking place, Costessey Park & Ride will be closed.

Service 510/511 will be diverted into Thickthorn Park & Ride on 24th/25th June 26, Serving the Shelter at the south of the site.

Temporary Changes to Services in Easton

At 8pm on Tuesday 30th June, Highways England will be partially closing the Easton roundabout. This closure will mean that FirstBus Excel services cannot turn right into Easton village.

We have been advised that the Konect 4 Service will continue to serve part of the the village and will accept FirstBus tickets. The Marlingford Road Stop toward Norwich will not be served by the Konect 4.

Journeys from Norwich are unaffected and will continue to serve Easton as normal.

We are currently investigating options on being able to provide a service and will update this page asap.

A further phase of works will be in place from the 1st August. This will see the westbound exit on to the Easton roundabout closed too. We are also working on options for this phase and will update this page for that asap too.

Due to Road works on Blue Boar Lane, Services 11, 11A, 12 won't be unable to serve Tesco's till the 28th June 2026.

Owing to work at the stop, service Excel A won't be able to serve Stand BN, St Stephens on the 14th, 21st & 28th June 2026.

Service 28

Monday 15th June 2026 to 13th July 2026 for 4 weeks  

Due to part road closure at Breckfarm Lane, we will be unable to serve Kingswood Avenue between the above dates 

Buses will divert via Windsor Chase, to Pendlesham Rise (to continue route) in both directions.

Please use your nearest stop, either Pendlesham Rise-The Otter or Fakenham Road.
