Service Changes from 24th May and 31st May
We're making changes to some services in Lowestoft from 24th May, and to our Charcoal Line in Norwich from 31st May 2026.
What's changing?
Revised route and timetable. The 99 will now operate via Katwijk Way and will additionally call at Lowestoft Rail Station, offering new journey opportunities.
No change to service levels or frequencies.
Revised route and timetable. The service will terminate at the Co-op in Saxons Way and will no longer serve the Duke's Drive loop.
The changes are as a result of the revision to route 99, which interworks with the 99A at Southwold.
There is no change to number of journeys provided.
Revised Monday to Friday timetable, with buses running every 30 minutes before 9am and after 3pm. Between these times, buses will continue to run every 20 minutes.
New service running hourly between Lowestoft and Carlton Colville, during the middle of the day on Monday to Friday and Saturday, supplementing the existing service X22 which also covers this section of route.
Services 111 and X22 together will provide a bus every 30 minutes between Lowestoft and East Anglia Transport Museum.
Monday to Friday and Saturday service extended from Lowestoft Bus Station to Lowestoft Rail Station, creating new connections from the station to the area north of Lowestoft.
Extended journeys to Lowestoft Station begin after 9am on Monday to Friday and after 8am on Saturday, connecting with East Suffolk Line train arrivals
There are no changes to the Sunday service.
Revised timetable with amended frequencies. Between Norwich and Poringland, three buses per hour will operate. Between Norwich and Bungay, two buses per hour will continue to run, with one bus per hour extending to Halesworth.
