To facilitate carriageway works, Plimsol Swing Bridge (towards Hotwells) will be closed from 22:30 to 05:30 on October 15th and then from 21:00 to 05:30 on October 16th and 17th.

The following diversion will be observed for all affected routes:

Service will divert at Jessops Underpass then Coronation Road, Bedminster Roundabout, Redcliffe Roundabout, Bascule Bridge, The Grove, Prince Street, Broad Quay through to St Augustine’s Parade to resume the normal route.

Kewstoke Rd will be closed on the 15th October 09:30-15:30 to facilitate carriageway works.

Service 1 will divert from Weston Super Mare turning at the Cabot Court Hotel onto Knightstone Road, following this road all along the Boulevard to Milton Road, to merge left onto New Bristol Road. Heading onto Queens Way up to Lower Norton Rd, turning right for normal route at the pink shop junction.

Regrettably, stops in Both directions (Royal Parade/Upper Church Road/Paragon Road/Prince Consort Gardens/Old Toll Gate/Kewstoke Tollgate and Crookes Lane) will not be served during the closure.

Services from Weston Super Mare town will divert from the Cabot Court Hotel into Knightstone Road all the way through to Queensway  where the journey will take you north onto Lower Norton Road to resume normal route at the pink shop junction on Crookes Lane, heading toward Sand Bay.

This will be in reverse heading back to Weston town.

ROAD CLOSURE – A37, Temple Cloud – Service 172, 376 & 376a

The A37 in Temple Cloud will be closed to services 172, 376 & 376a from 1900 on Thursday 17 th October and will remain fully closed until 0600 on Friday 18th to facilitate Water Works.

Services 172 & 376a heading towards Midsomer Norton from Bristol are to Divert at Chelwood Roundabout and follow the A368 through to Marksbury Fuel Station. At the lights turn on to the A39 and follow through to Hallatrow. At the mini roundabout, turn left to resume normal route. Reverse applies. Service 376 will operate as above, but at Hallatrow mini roundabout, continue straight to resume route at White Cross.

Avon Street will be closed from Monday 14th October until Wednesday 16th October to facilitate carriageway works. The following diversion will be in place for all services:

Services 1, U1, 5, U5: Services using Avon Street will divert via Green Park Road & Midland Bridge Road back to the normal route.

Services using Ambury will divert around to James Street West and Midland Bridge Road back to the normal route.

Road closure affecting Service 375 – Broadway, Chilton Polden

Broadway between Lippetts Way and Manor Road in Chilton Polden will be closed from 07:00 on Monday 7th October until 17:00 on Friday 1st November due to roadworks.

375 heading towards Bridgwater:

Buses will operate the normal route to the junction of Lippetts Way and King William Road, and divert via Scott Lane, A39, Manor Road and resume the normal route at the junction of Middle Road.

375 heading towards Bristol:

Buses will operate the reverse of the above.

UPDATE - 12:45 Thursday 26th September - The original diversion below will now be in place. There was an error made by the contractors in setting up this closure. Apologies for any confusion caused.

Combe Street Lane in Yeovil heading towards Yeovil only will be closed to service 376 from 08:00 on Thursday 26th September and will remain fully closed until 17:00 on Wednesday 23rd October to facilitate carriageway works.

Service 376 heading towards Yeovil only will be diverted from the roundabout at the junction of Combe Lane Street and the A37 will be diverted via the A37 to resume normal route at the next roundabout at the junction of Mudford Road.

Service 376 heading towards Wells can operate normal route.

Regretfully the bus stops between and including Combe Street Lane buys stop and the Sparrow Road bus stop on Mudford Road will not be served and passengers are advised to board or alight either the Coppitts Hill bus stop on the A37 or the Yeovil Hospital bus stop. Alternatively passengers can remain on the bus to Yeovil and travel back up on the bus to get off on the bus stops heading towards Wells. The bus stops on Ilchester Road (A37 diversion route will also be observed).
