UPDATE - 12:15 Monday 10th July - Date extension until last bus on Friday 21st July. Normal service from first bus on Saturday 22nd July.

Clanage Road in Ashton will be closed from 08:00 on Monday 19th June and will remain fully closed until Friday 21st July to facilitate carriageway works.

Service X4 heading towardf Portishead, after serving the Winterstoke Road bus stop, instead of going under the underpass towards Clanage Road, buses will take the first exit to join the A370, coming off the exit slipway and use the B3128 Clarken Coombe and Beggar Bush Lane to rejoin the normal route at the traffic lights with Abbots Leigh Road.

Service X4 heading towards Bristol, buses will operate the reverse of the above, serving the Blackmoors Lane bus stop as usual.

Regretfully the North Road, Ashton Lodge and Clanage Road bus stops will not be served.

Customers will need to use the Winterstoke Road/Blackmoors Lane stop for UWE Bower Ashton, or the The Gateway stop by the tennis centre. Alternatively, the service 8 will be operating normally between Clifton and Bristol City Centre which is accessible from the other side of the Suspension Bridge.
