Woodbridge Road, Ipswich will be closed due to Carriageway patching repairs from 19:00hrs Tuesday 23rd January 2024 until 06:00hrs Wednesday 24th January 2024
During this time, our services will be diverted and unable to serve stops on Woodbridge Road between the Lattice Barn Pub & the end of Woodbridge Road - as buses will be diverting via Spring Road.

St Stephens Street (stops suspension)
Roadworks in St Stephens Street, Norwich from Monday 3rd November to Sunday 9th November to allow for a new gas connection to a new shop will result in some minor delays to all services in the area due to the requirement for temporary traffic lights.
As a result stands BC BD BR and BQ will be suspended on these days
Charcoal Line services
These will operate from Stand R in the bus station on these days.
Purple Line services
Operating from Lakenham/Mulbarton/Long Stratton/Harleston - services will operate via the bus station and will allow passengers to board and alight at Stand M.
Services in the opposite direction can operate as usual via Stand BP in St Stephens Street

Cringleford Interchange/Roundhouse Way (services 11, 11A, 12, 13, X13, 14, 14A, 15, 15A, 16, 16A, Excel (A, B, C, D)
To allow for the completion of existing works there will be changes to stopping arrangements & some closures affecting services from Monday 3rd November to Friday 19th December (estimated). Any updates relating to this will be added to this page as the project develops - please check back frequently if you use the bus interchange.
During these works there will be temporary changes to stopping arrangements in Cringleford Interchange which will apply to all bus services by all operators.
The stops at Stand B & Stand C will both be suspended to allow a safe working area - Stand B will be relocated north-west of the Dragonfly Way roundabout, and Stand C will be relocated onto the shelter at Stand A. Signage will be in place to direct passengers to the correct bus stops, and bus times will be unchanged.

A47 Police Closure | Thorney
Due to a police incident the A47 has been closed between Thorney and Thorney Toll.
Services will divert via Whittlesey - meaning we are unable to serve:
- Thorney
- Thorney Toll
- Guyhirn

North Denes, Great Yarmouth (Service 8)
Due to an emergency road closure on North Denes Road our service 8 (which is using it as a diversion route) will not be able to use the temporary stop until further notice. Passengers are asked to use stops at the Bus Depot on Caister Road or in Northgate Street
Pound Lane/Laundry Lane (services 24/24A/24B)
Due to road closures and a one way restriction related to the Thorpe St Andrew fireworks event taking place on Saturday 1st November 2025 – services 24/24A/24B will need to take a diversion route between 16:00 and 21:00
Services from Norwich will operate as usual to Thunder Lane and then onto the ring road and then directly to Sainsburys.
Services towards Norwich should operate the above route in reverse.

Upper Brook Street/Great Colman Street (Services 66/75)
Northgate Street, Ipswich will be closed between the junction with Carr Street and the junction with Great Coleman Street from 19:00 on Friday 31st October 2025 until midnight.
Services 66 and 75 will operate via Tacket Street, Orwell Place and Upper Orwell Street to return to usual line of route.
Unfortunately stops on Upper Brook Street and Great Coleman Street will not be served after 19:00 for the rest of the evening, passengers are advised to allow extra time and board services at Old Cattle Market bus station.

Kirton Road, Trimley (service 73)
Due to works being undertaken by UKPN at Kirton Road, Trimley St Martin (between Kirton and the A14 junction, near the school) between Thursday 30th October 2025 and Sunday 2nd November 2025 our service 73 will divert as follows –
Towards Felixstowe
Usual route until Kirton, after leaving Kirton will operate via and A14 at end of the road. then resuming usual line of route at Howlett Way, Trimley St Martin
Towards Woodbridge
Usual route until the end of Howlett Way, Trimley St Martin.Then operating via A14 towards Ipswich to Seven Hills Interchange and return along A14 towards Felixstowe. Then via Innocence Lane to resume usual route through Kirton.
This is likley to affect the punctuality of some journeys and we apologise to customers affected by this diversion.
Church Lane, Gorleston (services 2, 3, 3B, 7, 8, X1, X11)
Owing to these Norfolk County Council roadworks, Church Lane, Gorleston, including all arms of the roundabout, will be closed from Saturday 25th October until Saturday 1st November.
Diversions will be in place on all Gorleston services (except 1/1A) as follows: -
Service 2: operating between William Adams Way and Burgh Road direct via Beccles Road in both directions
Services 3/3B: operating between William Adams Way and Crab Lane via Beccles Road and Shrublands Way in both directions
Service 8: operating between Southtown Road and Magdalen Way via Beccles Road and Shrublands Way in both directions
Services X1/X11/7: operating between Gorleston High Street and James Paget Hospital via Lowestoft Road, Albemarle Road, Middleton Road, Lowestoft Road in both directions
Temporary stops will be in place on Shrublands Way in both directions close to the Church Lane junction for services 3/3B and 8. Drivers will also observe all other stops on the diversion routes.
A free shuttle service will operate between approx. 07:00 and 23:00 daily to provide a link between Magdalen Estate, Shrublands Way and Gorleston High Street. (see below)
