Service 8 Cancellation
11:34 JPH to Caister has been unable to run due to a breakdown ~ We are hoping to resume service as soon as possible from Market Gates

Bracondale, Norwich is closed Lowestoft bound.

X2/X21/X22 Buses are diverted via Ipswich Rd and unable to serve any stops on Bracondale or County Hall.

Additionally, Norwich Services 40A/41A/X41 are diverted via Hall Rd from City centre

Norwich diversions revised

40A and 41A are now following 40 route out of city via City Rd and ring road to County Hall roundabout, then resuming route through Trowse.

X41 are diverted via Ipswich Rd and A47.

Citybound services are not affected.

PREVIOUS DIVERSIONS NOW AMENDED TO BELOW

Services cannot serve the outbound stops along Bracondale at Corton Rd or King St (County Hall), with the exception of X1 & X11 services which are serving Bracondale, before diverting.

Services 40A and 41A are diverted via City Rd to resume service at the Europa Way stop (by the fire station).

Services X41, X2, X22 via Ipswich Rd and A47.

Services X1 and X11 via King St, Norwich FC Stadium and Yarmouth Rd.

SERVICES X1/X11

Divert via King Street.From the junction of Bracondale and King Street turning left, to follow the road up to Norwich Stadium, then right at the traffic lights to Canary Way, Thorpe Road and return to A47

SERVICES X11/3B

Belton Station Rd South closed, instead of turning right onto Waveney Driver carry on along New RD and at the end turn Right onto Bracon RD (wait time) then back on normal route.

SERVICE 1

Winterton – Road is reopened. Normal Service.

X1 Services

Acle to Blofield closed 20:00 to 06:00 each night till 06:00 Friday morning

Services to divert via South Walsham, Salhouse in both directions.

Excel service

Friday 24th April 20.00pm to Sunday 26th April 06.00am

Due to road closure on A47 between Tuddenham & Easton, Excel service will divert from Dereham through Elmham - Baudseswell - A1067 into city, same in reverse.

There will be no service for Newmarket Rd, Cringleford, Easton or Hockering. 

Excel service will stop in Lenwade on Diversion

Service X1 | Acle to Blofield closed

Acle to Blofield is closed to Service X1 between 20:00 to 06:00 each night till 06:00 Friday 24th April 2026 morning.

The service will divert via South Walsham, Salhouse in both directions.

Due to X29 being on diversion, we wont be able to serve stops between Bawdeswell and Holt Road, Fakenham.

Service 29

Taverham Rd, Taverham 

Due to Taverham Rd closure Service 29 will be unable to serve Orchard Bank and Byron Rd.

We will divert passed Taverham Rd turning right into Baldrick rd,left into Lacey Rd, left St Walstans Rd, left into Eastfield/cameron Green,

then Shakespeare Way to resume normal route.

DURING SCHOOL HOURS 8.30AM-9.00AM & 14.30PM-16.00PM

We will divert via Baldrick Rd, Lacey Rd, St Walstans Rd resume normal route route on Victoria Rd

Monday 27th April 2026 19.00pm to Tuesday 28th April 2026 03.00am

Due to Theatre Street closure the above services will divert through St Stephens St turning right at roundabout onto Chaplefield Rd to pick up normal route in and out bound. 

Srevice 21 will use 25/26 stops on Red Lion St in both directions

Services 23, 23A,24B will use BQ out of city and BE into city 

Service 21 

Thursday 23rd April 18.00pm to Friday 24th April 06.00am 

Due to road closue we will be ubable to serve Bowthorpe Rd hospital in both directions. 

Out Of City Service 21 will divert to Derham Rd Roundabout, take 1st exit onto Guardian Rd then right at the traffic lights to resume normal route

Into city   Normal route to Bowthorpe Rd traffic lights turning left onto Guardian Rd the 3rd Exit at Roundabout to resume normal route
