Due to Wood Lane closure on Monday 7th September between 9.30am to 3.30pm.

We will unable to serve Colegate End 

The above service will be on diversion

From Castle Meadow - 08.13am, 09.13am, 10.13am, 11.13am, 12.13pm, 13.13pm, & 14.13pm staying on the A140 to Pulhams roundabout turning left to Pulham Market to resume route. 

From Harleston 09.25am, 10.25am, 11.25am, 12.25pm, 13.25pm, &14.25pm will be doing the above route in reverse  via Pullhams roundabout onto A140.

We will be unable to serve Colgate End And Wood Lane

915 | Rendlesham

Due to a road closure in Tunstall, the 915 to Farlingaye HS will unfortunately need to commence/finish at Rendlesham whilst this closure is in place. 
 

Service 11, 11A

Due to the closure of Hetherset Lane the above services will be on diversion. 

From NNUH to Hethersett. We will not be able to use Rosalind Franklin Road & Hethersett Lane 

Buses will divert via Rounhouse Way, Cringleford interchange, to Thicktorne roundabout taking B1172 Norwich Road

Turning right at traffic lights onto Colney Lane to resume route into Harness Maker Way.

From Hethersett. Same route in reverse.

70 | Grundisburgh

02/09/2026 – 15/09/2026

Woodbridge Road in Grundisburgh is closed.

Outbound, after serving Basketmakers Cottage, B1079, St Botolph's Church, Drabbs Lane, Debach, Hall Road, Boulge Road, Hasketon, Manor Road, A12, Woods Lane, Grundisburgh Road, to resume normal line of route.

Inbound after serving Naunton Road stop, A12, Woods Lane, A12, then left into B1078, Drabbs Lane, Grundisburgh Road, Grundisburgh Dog to resume normal line of route.

66 & 66A | Penzance Road

Penzance Road before Oregon Road is closed. 

Outbound: after serving Linksfield, Beech Road, Bell Lane, and Twelve Acre Approach, the busway will resume the normal line of route

Inbound: vice versa.

Each evening between 20.00 & 06.00

Due to Norwich road closure between the above times each evening, Services 23A, 24B & 31 will divert via 23 route

10/08/2026 – 21/09/2026

Thorney Green Road is shut

Services serving the Mill Street stop and diverting straight on to the roundabout, to turn back and waiting time at the stop opposite the allotments. Once service resumes, diverting via A1120 to resume normal line of route

Service 21, 21A. 

Monday 27th July 2026 to Friday 31st August  2026

Due to the closure of Earlham Green lane/Bowthorpe Rd & Hutchinson Rd the above services will divert.

Out of City via Bowthorpe Rd traffic lights, Farrow Rd, Earlham Rd passed University to Wilberforce Rd, West Earlham shops, then back onto Wilberforce Rd to resume route to Hospital. 

Into city to West Earlham Shops, then back to Wilberforce Rd, Earlham Rd, Farrow Rd then right into Bowthorpe Rd to resume route into city.

BM14 will be using Larkman lane

The second phase of works at the Easton roundabout start from 31st July and will continue until the end of the year.

During this phase, we will continue to operate via the existing diversion route on journeys toward Norwich, and will adopt this diversion route for all journeys toward Dereham, King's Lynn and Peterborough.

The temporary stop located just before the junction with Bluebell Way, will be the only stop Excel serves, in both directions, so please signal clearly to the driver to stop.

We remain committed to providing a service up to every 30 minutes for Easton.

Temporary Changes to Services in Easton

From Wednesday 1st July, Highways England will be partially closing the Easton roundabout. This closure will mean that First Bus Excel services cannot turn right into Easton village.

We are pleased to say that a viable diversion route, using Bluebell Way and Fennel Drive has been assessed, and that Excel journeys toward Norwich will be able to serve the village.

All Norwich bound journeys will exit the A47 at the Longwater junction, then head westbound in to Easton, turning around using the diversion route.

Norfolk County Council are arranging for a temporary stop to be located just before the junction with Bluebell Way. Please note: this will be the only stop that Norwich bound Excel services use. Excel buses heading toward Dereham, King's Lynn and Peterborough will not serve this stop

Journeys from Norwich are unaffected and will continue to serve Easton as normal.
