Pulham Market and Starston / 36A & B / DIVERSION / 17th - 20th of March 2026

Due to the above we can only serve Pulham StMary between these dates.​

From 17th to end of service on the 20th of March we will only be able to serve Pulham St Mary. The diversion will run as the following diversion :-

Toward Harleston:-

Southernmost Roundabout, The Long Stratton, A140, The Pulhams Roundabout, Rectory Road, Rushall Half Moon PH, , Pulham Road, Pulham St Mary, The Pennoyer Centre, Wilderness Lane and to resume route.

From Harleston :-

Follow the reverse of the above. 

 Neville Grove in Swillington is closed due to roadworks, so the 9A will have to use the following diversion -

Towards Seacroft - Wakefield Road, The Roundabout, Selby Road, The Junction with Swillington Lane.

Towards White Rose - Selby Road, The Roundabout, Wakefield Road, The Junction with Church Lane.

Service 29

Wednesday 18th March to Thursday 19th March 

Due to closure of Somerset Way in Taverham we will be unable to serve Nightingale Drive.

Bus will divert via Sandy Lane and The Street picking up normal route at Beech avenue

Service 36A

Monday 16th March to Wednesday 25th March

Due to road closure we will be unable to serve Starston

Bus will divert at Pullham St Mary, turning right into Station Rd at Pennoyer Centre to Harleston.

Service 30

Monday 16th March to Wednesday 18th March 

Due to Heigham Street closure at the junction with Barn Rd service 30 will divert via Dereham Rd and Old palace Rd.

Service 36A  

Due to emergency closure of Harleston Rd in Pulham Market 36A will be on diversion. A140 to Scole and A143 into Harleston. We Will be unable to serve Pulham Market, Pulham St Mary and Starston.

Service 11A Eaton 

 Out of city, Due to the slip road Eaton street, (Cellar House) Eaton being closed from Wedneday 11th March 19.00 to Thursday 12th March 6am sevice 11A will continue straight on Newmarket rd A11 to Thickthorne roundabout. 

Into City is Normal route

These works have finished earlier than planned. Normal line of route has been put back in place.

 SERVICE 13

Due to the closure of Giles road, Spixworth from Monday  09/03/26 to Sunday 15/03/26 we will be unable to serve Aurthurton Rd and Giles Rd

Servise 13 will continue on Buxton Rd turning right into Park Rd to continue route. 

Same diversion back.  

Due to road closure/demolition works on Edward St/Magdalen St from 1st February 2026 we will not be able to serve Anglia Sq.

Services 11,11A,12 and 13

Out of City will divert from Tombland turning right at The Maids Head Hotel to roundabout taking 2nd exit onto Charlton Rd/ Bull Close Rd to Artichoke traffic lights then turning right and picking up normal routes.

There is a stop at Cowgate, Charlton Rd as an alternative for Anglia Sq.

Into City the above service will turn left into Bull Close Rd onto Charlton Rd, 2nd exit at roundabout following onto Palace St then picking up normal route into City

There is a stop on Bull close Rd as an alternative for Anglia Sq.

Services 21,21A,28,29,X29,36,37,38,39,&PR1 

Out of City will divert from Tombland turning right at The Maids Head Hotel (There will be a temporary stop at Fishergate on Whitefriars for an alternative to Anglia Sq) follow to roundabout taking 1st exit onto flyover then 3rd exit onto Pitt St to St Augustines then picking up  normal routes 

Into City the above service will omit the Edward St stop, follow road to St Crispins roundabout taking 1st exit onto flyover then 3rd exit onto Whitefriars

There will be a temporary stop just opposite Fishergate on Whitefriars for an alternative to Anglia Sq

From Monday 12th January 2026 until Friday 20th March 2026 all excel services will be unable to serve stops in Market Place, Dereham due to improvement works funded by Norfolk County Council taking place in the area.

Services in both directions will instead operate from a temporary facility in a section of the Cherry Tree Car Park, following minor diversions to serve these temporary stops. (see map)

Timetables for all services will remain unchanged.
