LocationNew Road, Tilney St Lawrence
-
CauseTree maintenance
-
Effective22/04/2024 - 26/04/2024
Due to tree maintenance taking place on New Road, Excel A & C services will need to take a diversion route between Monday 22nd April to Friday 26th April. Our services will not be able to serve Tilney High End during this closure, buses will instead operate via the A47 and Church Road in Terrington St John.
We will not be able to serve our normal stops in Terrington St John, so temporary stops will be provided for eastbound services on Main Road, west of the junction with Church Road. The westbound stop will be located on Church Road, near to the junction with Main Road. Services will wait at these stops until their booked departure time from Terrington St John.
We apologise for any disruption that these works may cause to your journey.

Service 10 & 33 - route & timetable consultation
Services 10/10A & 33/33A are operated under contract to Norfolk County Council.
Following a recent re-procurement exercise, the contract will change to Konectbus from Monday 1st September 2025 - our last day operating these services will be Saturday 30th August.
The service provision to and from Mousehold and the City Centre is largely the same and will operate on a 40 minute frequency - timetable details will be shared soon.
33/33A: There are some additional journeys for passengers and all journeys will serve Plumstead Road and Harvey Lane.
10/10A: The route in Eaton and Cringleford is combined which does stretch out the journey time on some journeys but offers a more frequent service and an extended service to the Rail Station.
Please provide any comments on the proposed route & timetable to transporteast@norfolk.gov.uk by Monday 14th July 2025.

A, B, and C Excel Services | Easton | Road Closure
A, B, and C Excel Services | Easton | Road Closure
Due to a road closure at Easton on the Mattishall end roundabout, all A, B, and C Excel services will be unable to serve Ches Denis stop.
We will be serving Bawburgh Road and Travel Inn stop.
Services will be experiencing delays.
On 1st July - Excel services will drop off and pick up on the roundabout at the Longwater End, and will not go into Easton Proper.
Station Road, Silfield (14A/15/15A/16/16A)
Due to subway construction taking place on Station Road (under the rail bridge) between Wymondham & Silfield - our services 14A/15/15A/16/16A will be curtailed from Monday 30th June to Sunday 20th July.
During this time, services will continue to serve Wymondham Cross & Harts Farm as normal, but will terminate & restart service on Ayton Road. This means that we will be unable to serve Silfield.
---------------------------------------------------
However, as-per previous closures - Norfolk County Council have procured a free shuttle bus service (operated by Tan Cars), which will operate directly from Silfield Goshawk Rise to Wymondham Cross (& v.v.) - making use of diversion routes that we would not be able to send a bus through.
The timetable for this service is shown below and is available as a printed version at the bottom of this page, and will additionally be posted at all bus stops in Silfield.
For any queries or complaints relating to the shuttle bus, you will need to contact Norfolk County Council at www.norfolk.gov.uk or 0344 800 8020.

Acle Straight Evening closure - Service X1
A47 Acle Straight closure
Tuesday 27th May End Date Friday 18th July Duration 20:00-06:00, weeknights for resurfacing works.
Affected services will need to operate via Filby in both directions.
Bernham Road, Hellesdon (37/37B)
Due to an emergency road closure on Bernham Road in Hellesdon due to a burst water main, there will be severe disruption on our Purple Line 37/37B services.
In the Hellesdon area, these services will be split in half on Monday to Saturdays daytimes - with one bus an hour operating a loop of Bush Road, Raymond Road & Reepham Road, and one bus an hour operating a loop of Coppice Avenue & Woodland Road. Please see the timetable below (or attachment) for details on bus times on either side of the loop during this closure.
Evening services (shown below as serving both Bush Road & Woodland Road Stores) will operate both loops to serve as many stops as possible during these times where services operate less frequently.
Services south of The Bull roundabout, and all other Purple Line services are not affected by this, and will continue to operate at the same times as now.
Please view the temporary timetable attached below for bus times from either side of Hellesdon during this closure.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause to your journey, but we are not responsible for issuing roadworks permits and can only work around these closures.
