High Road Gorleston Service 1, 1A, 6, 8, X1, X11

Due to the Ipswich Half Marathon taking place on Sunday 22nd September between 08:30 & 13:30 - services 4/65/66/75 will need to take diversion routes.

Services 65/66/75 will terminate & restart from Tower Ramparts and won't be able to serve Old Cattle Market or the Rail Station.

Service 4 will operate from Tower Ramparts onto Crown Street, Woodbridge Road, Argyle Street, St Helens Street, Grove Lane & Derby Road to join normal route.

Due to CityFibre works taking place from Monday 16th September to Friday 20th September, Martham Road in West Somerton will be closed.

During this time, services towards Martham only will need to take a diversion route. They will complete the loop in Winterton, then run back to Hemsby and follow the 1A route into Martham. The 06:40 from Lowestoft will continue to serve Flegg High School during this closure.

Due to a new gas connection being made, service 8 will need to take a diversion route in Cliff Park from Monday 16th September to Friday 20th September.

These services will complete a full loop of Mariners Compass, then operate into the James Paget via Links Road & the A47.

Due to bridge inspection works taking place on the Herring Bridge, service 3B will need to take a diversion route from Monday 16th September to Friday 20th September between 20:00 & 06:00 each night.

These services will not miss any stops, but will need to operate via Haven Bridge - so delays are expected each evening.

Gas works will be taking place along Gertrude Road from Monday 16th September to Friday 4th October, meaning the road will once again be closed.

During this time, services will operate the full length of Mousehole Avenue, then make the left onto Silver Road.

Due to new water main installation taking place on Colney Lane between the Hospital roundabout & B1108 junction - the road will be closed from Monday 16th September to Wednesday 18th September.

For the duration of these works, both stops at Norwich Research Park will be suspended - passengers here are advised to walk to the Plaza to complete their journeys.

All services in both directions will need to enter/exit through the back entrance to the Hospital – past the multistorey car park & Hethersett Lane.

Due to Openreach works taking place on Normanston Drive, near to Oulton Broad North station - service 122 will need to take a diversion route on Sunday 15th September between 07:00 & 16:00.

Services will operate via Gresham Avenue & Higher Drive during this time, omitting the Lakeland Drive stop.

Due to CityFibre works taking place along Bell Lane in Kesgrave, our Mainline 66/66A will need to take a diversion route on Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th September.

From Ipswich, services will operate directly on Woodbridge Road/Main Road, and will then turn into Ropes Drive to resume normal route.

This means we won't be able to serve stops on Beech Drive, Mendip Drive, Penzance Road, Bell Lane or Kesgrave Busway.

Due to urgent carriageway works taking place on Hollow Hill Road in Ditchingham from Wednesday 11th September to Friday 13th September, our Charcoal Line 41/41A/X41 buses will need to operate a diversion route. In both directions, services will omit Hollow Hill Road and Loddon Road and will consequently be unable to serve these stops.

During this time, customers wishing to board our services should wait on the B1332 near to Smokey Joes where our drivers have been instructed to allow passengers to board and alight the service.

Due to various carriageway improvements taking place on Redwald Road, it will be closed from Monday 9th September to Friday 4th October.

During this time, services will operate directly along Acer Road to the roundabout, returning the same way.
