A1067 evening works (X29)

Due to surface dressing & reclamite works on the A1067, our X29 services will be disrupted on various evenings in May & June. Unlike previous closures, these are placed in such a way that our services will not be cut off from Bawdeswell & Fakenham at any point.

The following journeys will be on diversion on the below dates:

19:20 Norwich to Fakenham
21:20 Norwich to Fakenham
22:50 Norwich to Fakenham

19:25 Fakenham to Norwich
20:35 Fakenham to Norwich

Monday 19th May Tuesday 20th May Wednesday 21st May Thursday 29th May Friday 30th May Saturday 31st May Wednesday 18th June Saturday 21st June Monday 23rd June	The A1067 will be closed between Guist & Stibbard. Services will operate via B1145 Billingford, North Elmham & Brisley, then via B1146 through Pudding Norton. They will then operate via the A1065 to the Toll Bar roundabout to enter Fakenham from the west. We will not be able to serve stops between Bawdeswell Primary School & Fakenham Oak Street.
Friday 20th June	The A1067 will be closed at Attlebridge, meaning that X29s will not serve any of Drayton High Road or Fakenham Road on this evening. Any customers for this section of route will need to use 28s to complete their journeys. Services from Norwich will operate as normal onto Drayton Road as far as the ring road, then via Sweet Briar Road, Dereham Road, the A47 as far as Hockering, then via Heath Road & Weston Hall Road to Great Witchingham crossroads. Services will resume normal route from here. Services towards Norwich will operate the reverse of the above, but will operate directly into the city via Newmarket Road - customers for Anglia Square & Drayton Road will be able to continue their journey through on the same bus. Please speak to your driver for any further information and clarification.

The A1067 will be closed between Guist & Stibbard.

Apologies for any inconvenience these works may cause to your journey, but hopefully the impacts this year will be significantly more limited compared to previous years.

Station Road, Silfield (14A/15/15A/16/16A)

Due to subway construction taking place on Station Road (under the rail bridge) between Wymondham & Silfield - our services 14A/15/15A/16/16A will be curtailed from Monday 30th June to Sunday 20th July.

During this time, services will continue to serve Wymondham Cross & Harts Farm as normal, but will terminate & restart service on Ayton Road. This means that we will be unable to serve Silfield.

However, as-per previous closures - Norfolk County Council have procured a free shuttle bus service (operated by Tan Cars), which will operate directly from Silfield Goshawk Rise to Wymondham Cross (& v.v.) - making use of diversion routes that we would not be able to send a bus through.

The timetable for this service is shown below and is available as a printed version at the bottom of this page, and will additionally be posted at all bus stops in Silfield.

Acle Straight Evening closure - Service X1

A47 Acle Straight closure

Tuesday 27th May End Date Friday 18th July Duration 20:00-06:00, weeknights for resurfacing works.

Affected services will need to operate via Filby in both directions.

This closure has finished early, and services are now resuming normal route.

From Monday 21st April to Friday 25th July, Bernham Road in Hellesdon will be closed to enable Norfolk County Council to carry out footway reconstruction works, which will have a severe impact on our Purple Line 37/37B services.

In the Hellesdon area, these services will be split in half on Monday to Saturdays daytimes - with one bus an hour operating a loop of Bush Road, Raymond Road & Reepham Road, and one bus an hour operating a loop of Coppice Avenue & Woodland Road. Please see the timetable below (or attachment) for details on bus times on either side of the loop during this closure.

~~Evening services (shown below as serving both Bush Road & Woodland Road Stores) will operate both loops to serve as many stops as possible during these times where services operate less frequently.~~

~~Services south of The Bull roundabout, and all other Purple Line services are not affected by this, and will continue to operate at the same times as now.~~
