20/02/26 - Service disrupted

15, 16 & 14 | Norwich Rd between Hethersett Lane and Thickthorn

As a result of the severe delays caused by these works, services will divert as follows:

15 services leaving Blofield Heath between 15.30 and 17.30 should screen 'Hethersett only' but operate to/ and spin at Waitrose Wymondham roundabout.

16 services leaving Lingwood between 16.00 and 17.30 will divert from Cringleford Interchange, A11, slip for Dereham/Wymondham and Sheffield Road.

Service 14 will operate the normal route but is likely to be subject to major delays and/or cancellations. 

Normal routes toward Norwich.

Excel Service 

Queensgate, Peterborough

Due to the ongoing works at Queensgate buses will be serving Peterborough Rail Station first before the Bus Station.

Please be aware this might be earlier than stated on the timetable,

Please allow extra time for your journey. 

Service 36

Long Stratton

 Flowerpot Lane closed on Friday 25th September between 9.30am to 15.00pm  

 Due to the above closure we will be unable to serve Manor Rd and Ice House Court stops.

Buses will divert from Francis Rd, right onto Manor Rd then onto Swan Lane to The Street to resume route into the city 

7 | Old Road Acle

7 Services are currently serving as far as Caister, then diverting back to Yarmouth along the Acle, straight to access Acle and the line of route.

Excel A & B

A47 Hardwick to Swaffham road closure

 Monday to Friday 20.00hr-06.00hr

Service Excel A,B wont be able to serve Middleton, East Winch and Narborough.

Buses will divert via the A10 in both directions.

Services 8, X1

Due to road works Magdalen Way they is a northbound closure, Services will be on diversion towards Yarmouth.

Normal route towards James Paget Hospital.

15 | Woodbastwick Road

Services will divert as follows until the 30th September:

Inbound via Mill Road, Blofield Heath, Dyes Road, Salhouse Road, Belt Road, Blofield Heath, Mill Road. 

Outbound above in reverse. 
 

Service 11, 11A

Due to the closure of Hetherset Lane the above services will be on diversion. 

From NNUH to Hethersett. We will not be able to use Rosalind Franklin Road & Hethersett Lane 

Buses will divert via Little Melton.

From Hethersett as above.

Service 87 diverting after coming up Thorney Green Road via Thorney Green and wait time at The Retreat

The second phase of works at the Easton roundabout start from 31st July and will continue until the end of the year.

During this phase, we will continue to operate via the existing diversion route on journeys toward Norwich, and will adopt this diversion route for all journeys toward Dereham, King's Lynn and Peterborough.

The temporary stop located just before the junction with Bluebell Way, will be the only stop Excel serves, in both directions, so please signal clearly to the driver to stop.

We remain committed to providing a service up to every 30 minutes for Easton.

Temporary Changes to Services in Easton

From Wednesday 1st July, Highways England will be partially closing the Easton roundabout. This closure will mean that First Bus Excel services cannot turn right into Easton village.

We are pleased to say that a viable diversion route, using Bluebell Way and Fennel Drive has been assessed, and that Excel journeys toward Norwich will be able to serve the village.

All Norwich bound journeys will exit the A47 at the Longwater junction, then head westbound in to Easton, turning around using the diversion route.

Norfolk County Council are arranging for a temporary stop to be located just before the junction with Bluebell Way. Please note: this will be the only stop that Norwich bound Excel services use. Excel buses heading toward Dereham, King's Lynn and Peterborough will not serve this stop

Journeys from Norwich are unaffected and will continue to serve Easton as normal.
