UPDATE - 09:00 Friday 14th June.

Long Down Avenue in Stoke Gifford has now been opened and service 72 are now back on normal route. There will be a further closure on Monday 17th June, for details see below.

Long Down Avenue in Stoke Gifford will be closed to service 72 between 07:45 and 16:30 on Monday 17th June to facilitate further carriageway works.

Service 72 heading towards the UWE operate normal route as far as Gainsborough Square then divert via Bonnington Walk, Filton Avenue and A4174 to resume normal route at Long Mead.

Regretfully the bus stops Hogarths Walk The Square and Wallshut Woods will not be served and passengers are advised to board or alight at either Gainsborough Square (normal stop) or Platts Wood on Long Mead.

Service 72 heading towards the Centre will operate the reverse of the above.

Regretfully the bus stops The Square, Hogarths Walk and Cameron Walk will not be served and passengers are advised to board or alight at either Platts Wood on Long Mead or Gainsborough Square (outside Gainsborough Court).
