The Colchester Soapbox Rally returns on Sunday 14th September 2025.
Due to the location of the road closure; the 51, 52, 53, 55, 68, 87, 2A and X20 services will be placed on diversion:
Towards Colchester North Station:
From Lexden Road - Services will divert via Balkerne Road and Middleborough before returning to normal line of route.
Due to a non-departmental accident on the M8 motorway at J26 (contraflow), Service 500 is experiencing delays.
This is affecting both sides of the carriageways.
Due to an incident on Gartlea Road, the service is diverting:
Diverting via Hogg St, Cairnhill Rd.
Due to an incident on West George Street, services 38 38A 38B 38C 38E 57 57A, 398, 500 are diverting.
the services are diverting via Hope Street at West George Street, Hope Street, West Regent Street, West Nile Street, Killermont Street, North Hanover Street, Cathedral Street and normal route.
Service 500 will go to the Bus Station from Killermont Street.

To allow for emergency Scottish Water repairs, from Thursday 11th September until the works are complete, this stop will be out of use.
Due to operational issues, service 1 at 10:05 will not depart Market Gates towards Lowestoft. Service should resume at Lowestoft for 11:05

Queen Street, Colchester will be closed for overnight roadworks from 22/09/2025 to 24/09/2025 (from 23:00hrs to 06:00hrs each night).
Due to the location of the roadworks MULTIPLE Colchester services will be placed on diversion:
Towards Colchester City Centre:
From Middleborough - Services will divert via Balkerne Road, Southway and Osborne Street before returning to normal line of route.
From East Hill - Services will divert via Brook Street, Magdalen Street and Osborne Street before returning to normal line of route.
Due to the road closures associated with the Worcester City 10k and Half Marathon races on Sunday 14 September 2025 between 0800 and 1330, services will have alternative terminus points in the Worcester City area throughout the closure. Worcester Bus Station will be closed during this timeframe. There will be no changes to timetables of services during this event.
We are expecting roads to be reopened and services to return to normal after 1330.
