What is PlusBus?
It's a ticket for unlimited bus travel on both First and other bus services* that you add to your train ticket. So you pay for your complete train and bus journey in one easy transaction. PLUSBUS tickets are available to many destinations across the UK, including: Swansea, Bridgend and Cardiff.

Children under 5 travel free
There are no restrictions on the number of children under five who can travel for free with each fare-paying adult, concessionary pass holder or young person.

UPDATE - 10:30 Monday 19th February - Please not that the road will be closed tonight and tomorrow night and not just Tuesday 20th as originally stated. Apologies for the short notice but we have only just been notified of this.
The roundabout at the junction of Broom Hill and Frenchay Park Road will be closed overnight to service 48a between 19:00 and 06:00 on Monday 19th and again on Tuesday 20th February (two nights) to facilitate carriageway works.
The top of Christchurch Street will be closed from 08:00 on Monday 26th February until Wednesday 28th February. Service 23 will be diverting via Baker Street in both directions.
There will also be temporary traffic lights on City Road during this time so there will be delays to the service, please allow extra time for your journey.
