*Update added 03/08/2026* The roadworks have been completed earlier than expected (25/07/2026 - 25/08/2026). The road will re-open tonight (3rd August) at midnight.

London Road (A13), Benfleet is closed for roadworks from 25/07/2026 to 25/08/2026.

Due to the location of the road closure - the 21 / 22 / 28 will be impacted:

The 21 will divert in both directions via Rushbottom Road, Church Road and Kents Hill Road North.

Update works have been extended due to the weather and to allow the Tarmac to cure until 5:00 on Saturday. Northumbria Drive in Henleaze will be closed from 09:00 until 17:00 on Thursday 13th and Friday 14th August. This will affect services 2, 2a and Y6.

Northbound buses towards Cribbs Causeway, Brentry or Chipping Sodbury will run normal route to White Tree Roundabout, then divert via Westbury Road and Henleaze Road to resume normal route.

Update 11:45

Works now impacting the wider area around King Street.

This is now affecting services 11, 11X and 101 also.

Any changes to the situation will be reflected here.

King Street, Newcastle has been closed for roadworks.

This appears to be until further notice. Any changes will be reflected on this update

Services X4 and X5 Temporary Route Diversion, Lowford.
Friday 24th expected to reopen on Thursday 30th July*

Due to a short notice road closure, routes X4 and X5 will divert via:
Providence Hill A27, and Hamble Lane in both directions.

52a Service - Until further notice (at all times)

Loxley Road terminus stop has been closed by unannounced Yorkshire Water works.

Services will remain on normal route, but proceed around Hanson Road & Chase Road before terminating / commencing inbound service from Rodney Hill (Loxley Primary School).

Due to roundabout works on Saturday 1st August until Tuesday 11th August Castlehill Road will be closed at Hopefield Gardens.

East Street, Banwell will be closed from Monday 27th July until Friday 28th August, for works on the new by-pass. This will affect services 126 and U2.

Service 126 towards Wells will operate normal route to The Orchard bus stop in Banwell, and will then divert along Castle Hill (A371) to Winscombe where it will resume normal route.

The following stops will be unable to be served: Dark Lane (Banwell) through to Woodborough Drive (Winscombe) inclusive.

Due to a road traffic collision on New Parks Way

Service 14A to divert inbound as below

Diverting from Hospital South Entrance, then via Groby Road, A50 towards Glenfield, Leicester Road, 1st exit at the roundabout, Station Road, Stamford Street, Dominion Road, Charnor Road, Battersbee Road, then resuming normal route
