Kingsland Road, West Mersea will closed for roadworks from Monday 19th February to Wednesday 21st February 2024 (08:00 - 16:00).

Due to the location of the road closure the 86 service will divert, in both directions:

Towards West Mersea - At the end of East Road, right into Upland Road, at the the end left into High Street North, left into Barfield Road and terminate at Tesco store.

Towards Colchester - From Tesco store along Barfield Road and left into Kingsland Road and return to line of route.

This diversion and closure has again been cancelled, Route E2 will remain on normal route.

The bus stops called Waterworks Road on Havant Road Drayton will be closed for road works from the 26th February to the 11th March. Please use an alternative stop in Waterworks Road. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused during these works. The works contractor may alter the times and dates at short notice, which is out of our control.

Please note Strensall Towthorpe Road will be closed from Wednesday 21 February to Friday 8 March between the hours of 19:00 - 00:00. Services 5 and 5A will be redirected.

Diversion route:
All services are to terminate at Avon Drive. Transfer all passengers for onward travel onto a shuttle bus to Easrwick and Strensall.
All service buses will wait for the shuttle to return before commencing the inbound journey.

There will be a one-way restriction on Crown Street from Millburn Street to Springbank Terrace.

The permitted direction of travel will be southbound only from 04:00 on 19 February until 17:00 on 15 March

Seafield Road will be closed from Anderson Drive to Wellbrae Terrace in both directions from 08:00 on 20 February until 17:00 on 22 February

Service 15,15B heading from Countesswells to Holburn
From Countesswells Road/Craigton Road:
• Service 15 from Airyhall Library continue along Springfield Road
• Service 15B from Countesswells Road left onto Springfield Road 
• Both services continue straight ahead on Springfield Road
• right onto Queens Road
