Various towns and villages in the BANES area will be holding Remembrance Day events on Sunday 8th November at various times. Please see below for times of events and service changes during those times.

Frome between 10:15 - 12:00

  • Service D2 will not serve the Market Place or Badcox. It will instead go via Welshmill Road, Welshmill Lane, Whatcombe Road and Vallis Road.

Warminster between 14:00 - 16:45

  • Service D1 will not serve Portway or the Market Place. It will go via Copheap Lane, Imber Road, Fairfield Road and Station Road, turn round at the Railway Station and then serve Boreham Fields as normal before returning to the Railway Station and returning to normal route via Copheap Lane.

Trowbridge between 09:10 - 11:45

  • Service D1 towards Warminster will not serve Market Street and Town Hall it will instead wait time at Sainsbury's before going via Manvers Street, Wicker Hill, Stallard Street and Bythesea Road to resume normal route at Longfield Roundabout.
  • Service D1 towards Bath will be unaffected.

Midsomer Norton between 10:30 - 13:00

  • Service 522 and 174 will not serve The Hollies. Service 522 will continue along Silver Street in both directions serving the Old Town Hall stops. Service 174 will be unable to serve the Town Centre and will turn left at the bottom of Charlton Road onto Silver Street to resume normal route towards Stratton-on-the-Fosse.

Paulton between 14:00 - 15:30

  • Service 522 will be unable to serve The Pithay therefore it will turn left at Thicket Mead roundabout and go via Farrington Gurney and Hallatrow to come back into Paulton from the other side serving Paper Lane and then heading back to Hallatrow to resume normal route towards High Litttleton.

Keynsham between 09:00 - 11:30

  • The High street and the area around the Memorial Park will be closed.
  • Service 522 when getting to the end of the Wellsway will head towards the Ellsbridge House roundabout where it will join the A4 going along the bypass to Hicks Gate. Services will then head into Keynsham from the other end to Keynsham Church roundabout where they will serve the church and then continue towards Bristol.
  • Services 17,42,43,A4 Diversion to be confirmed

Peasedown St John between 10:10 - 12:30

  • Service 174 & 522 will not be able to serve Bath Road so will instead go via Orchard Way serving the stops on there as an alternative in both directions.
