Southend Road (A1114), Chelmsford is partially closed due to roadworks from Thursday 31st July to Monday 11th August 2025.

If heavy traffic levels, due to partial road closure, cause significant delays the X30 service will be placed on diversion:

Towards Southend-on-Sea: Normal line of route - All bus stops served.

Towards Stansted Airport: The X30 service will divert via Main Road and Southend Road to retain punctuality.

Low Waters Road at Strathaven Road/Mill Road

Due to emergency Scottish Water works on Friday 1st August Low Waters Road at Strathaven Road/Mill Road will be closed until 08th of September.

Due to a fatal road traffic collision on Clifton Road

Service 23 will divert via Hilton ST and Hilton Drive in both directions until further info

Service will not serve Clifton Road, Hilton Road

The changes come into effect from Sunday 31 August 2025, across Fareham, Gosport, Whiteley and Portsmouth.

Changes include additional journeys for commuters on the 11 service (Fareham to Gosport), as well as new stops on the 28/28A (Fareham to North Whiteley) to help access to the new housing estate in North Whiteley, and an increase in frequency on E1/E2 Eclipse services (Fareham to Gosport).

Due to unforeseen operational delays, the start of the new surface laying has been postponed.
This phase of the works is now scheduled to begin on the night of Wednesday 13th August.
