Calcutta Road, Tilbury is closed for roadworks from 28/05/2026 to 29/05/2026.

Due to the location of the roadworks - the 200 will divert in both directions via Montreal Road and Dock Road. 

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

Services 38,38A,103 Swan Square Burslem

Swan Square, Burslem will be closed inbound only on Sunday 24th May until Friday 29th May (08:00 - 17:00).

Service 22 A34 Newcastle Road Newcastle

Services 11,11X,39,39A,101 A53 King Street Newcastle

A53 King Street, Newcastle will be closed Tuesday 26th May until Wednesday 27th May 07:00 - 19:00.

Services 7A & 9 Biddulph Road Chell

*Update added 27/05/2026* The works have moved to the opposite side of the road and are no longer obstructing opp Wilsner bus stop (PITSEA BOUND).

Due to the placement of roadworks on Tyefields, Pitsea - the following bus stop(s) are inaccessible and will not be served:

Passengers are advised to use the following alternate bus stop(s) to board/disembark services:

Service 579 Quarry Hill

Due to roadworks blocking the road on Quarry Hill, the bus is diverting up through Sowerby New Road. This only impacts outbound services.

Services 40A & 41A 

26th May 2026 to 1st June 2026

Due to Stoke Road closure in Poringland we will be unable to serve Caister St Edmunds and Stoke Holy Cross between the above dates. 

We will divert  from Trowse to Arminghall Lane, Norwich Road picking up normal route at The Railway Tavern.

Service 207 | Whiston high street (School Service)

Whiston High Street has been closed by unannounced Northan PowerGrid works

Due to this closure services cannot operate normal service route.

Therefore, services will be starting on Greystones Road missing Moorhouse road completely.
