Six drivers with First Bus in the South and West of England have reached the finals of the Bus Driver of the Year.
They are headed for Blackpool on 6 September, where the drivers will compete against 106 finalists from across the country.

- Aberdeen: Angelika Nacef
They will also be up against the current title holder, another First Bus driver, Michael Leech, who is based at the operator’s Halifax depot.
Three drivers with First Bus in Wales have reached the finals of the Bus Driver of the Year.
They are headed for Blackpool on 6 September, where the drivers will compete against 106 finalists from across the country.
All three drivers are based at the Port Talbot depot and are Paul Wakeman, Simon Rogers and Aaron Wells.
They will also be up against the current title holder, another First Bus driver, Michael Leech, who is based at the operator’s Halifax depot.
First Bus driver, Michael Leech is aiming to defend his title at the Bus Driver of the Year finals in September.
Michael, based at the operator’s Halifax depot, beat more than 100 entrants to lift the trophy in Blackpool last year.
He is one of 36 drivers with First Bus who have made it to the finals, the most of any bus operator competing at the event, which is held on 6 September in the famous seaside resort.
