Due to rail replacement buses at the Rail Station, the Excel cannot serve the Rail station.

To allow for Motorway works on Thursday 10th July and Friday 11th July the M8 J22-23 West Bound will be closed between 20:00 and 06:00 each night.

During the closure the following diversion will be in operation:

Towards Glasgow Airport via M8, M77, Dumbreck Road, Paisley Road West, Helen Street, M8 West Bound normal route.
 

To allow for road works on Wednesday 9th July 20:00 until Thursday 10th July 06:00 West Graham Street M8 on slip will be closed.

During the closure, the following diversion will be in operation:

To Caledonia Depot via Maryhill Road, Garscube Road, Cowcaddens Road, North Hanover Street, Cathedral Street, Castle Street, High Street, Trongate, Stockwell Street Gorbals Street, Laurieston Road, Cathcart Road. 

76 & 76e Services - Until further notice

Fife Street has been closed by unannounced road works.

Services diverted along Newman Road in both directions.

Due to a road closure, Excel services won't be able to serve Thorney after 2100, from 07/07/2025 till 02/08/2025.

Services will divert via Whittlesey. 

Due to a police incident, we are currently unable to serve West Nooks.

Morrell Street has been closed by unannounced Severn Trent Water works.

OUTBOUND services diverted via Blyth Road & the full length of Muglet Lane.

08:50 Colchester to Stanstead has broken down, just after Braintree, this will not complete its journey.

10:40 Stanstead to Colchester is cancelled.

Heavy traffic delays due to roadworks in Earls Colne on the High Street.

12:40 Osborne Street to Halstead cancelled due to traffic/congestion.

St Marys Rd, Poringland is closed due to a burst water main.

Services to divert via Upgate, Long Road and directly to The Railway roundabout to resume route. 
 

Whiteladies Road will be closed northbound between Queen's Road and St Paul's Road from 07:00 on Monday 14th July through to mid-November to facilitate carriageway works.

Buses on routes 1, 2, 2a, 3, 4 and Y6 will be diverted via Queen's Road and St Paul's Road and although no bus stops will be missed out there may be some delays caused. Buses will NOT stop at any bus stops on this diversion. 

Southbound services towards the City Centre will be able to operate as normal.
