Ride for a Roll

To celebrate Catch the Bus Month, we're launching our Ride for a Roll competition!

We're challenging customers to travel with us once in four different weeks during September. With five weeks in the month, you've got one week to spare.

Complete your four weeks and we'll reward you with a Greggs breakfast roll and a hot drink on us.*

Feeder Road between Marsh Lane and Avon Street will be closed for 1 day between 08:00-15:00 on 28th August affecting service 16.

Service 16 towards Fishponds will divert after Kingsland Road Via Days Road, Barrow Road and Barton Hill road Queen Anne Road to Avonvale Road to pick up normal route.

Service 16 towards Whitchurch will follow reverse of route from Days Road.

We're making it easier to travel across Somerset and the West of England by simplifying our ticket range.

From 30 August, ticketing across Somerset will be integrated into a single, easier-to-understand offer, giving customers greater flexibility when travelling throughout the region.

Day Tickets

Local day tickets for Bridgwater, Taunton and Yeovil will continue to be available as they are today. The price of a Town Day Ticket will be £6.80.

Bellhouse Road will be closed between Firth Park roundabout at Primrose Avenue  (including the junction) for resurfacing works.

18a OUTBOUND service diverted via Stubbin Lane, Barnsley Road & Longley Lane

18a INBOUND service diverted via Hatfield House Lane & Sicey Avenue.

Whitson Street at the exit from Bristol Bus Station will be closed nightly from Monday 24th August until approximately 26th October between 20:00-06:00.

All services departing after 20:00 will turn Right out of The Bus station and follow Whitson Street (Part Unaffected) to Marlborough Street, then turn Right to St James Roundabout onto Normal Route.

No stops will be missed but there may be short delays.

Service X51 and X53 from 13/06/26 – 31/12/26

Outbound - At Sprakes Corner, A35 continue to Crown Roundabout,  A35, resume normal route

Inbound – Unaffected

All Waterdale Services

Waterdale will be closed for a city event. 

Outbound services via Cleveland Street & Hallgate, except for 358 & 359, which will operate via Trafford Way, College Way and Chequer Road.

Inbound service via Waterdale, Chequer Road, and College Road. 

207 School Service - Monday 6th July until Friday 30th October (at all times)

Worrygoose Lane (lower section) will be closed for road works.

School services and Services serving the Chequers will divert via High Street (Whiston), Cow Rakes Lane & Worrygoose Lane (upper section) in both directions (not serving Greystones Road).
