21/21A services will not be able to serve Pawlett until further notice.

Blackberry Road, Colchester is closed for roadworks. The permit's end date is 31st July 2026.

Due to the location of the road closure - the 52 will be placed on diversion:

Towards Tollgate: Normal line of route. All bus stops served.

Towards Highwoods: The 52 service will divert via London Road, Villa Road, Chapel Road, Wheatfield Road and Winstree Road.

The following bus stops will not be served: 

The A38 is closed between the M4/M5 junction and Thornbury 2000-0600 each night from Thursday 23rd July until 6am Monday 4th August. This will affect service T1.

Service T1 towards Thornbury will operate normal route as far as the M5 junction, then instead of continuing onto the A38 will divert via M5.They will come off at junction 14 go back down the A38 and on reaching Alveston will turn onto Thornbury Road to resume normal route.

To allow for resurfacing works, from Tuesday 28th July 08:00 until Thursday 30th July 17:30, Westburn Road will be closed between old Mill Road and Westfarm Crescent.

During the closure the following diversion will be in operation.

Service 7A towards Westburn:

Normal route Westburn Road at Westburn Drive, circle roundabout back along Westburn Road, right into Hamilton Road and take recovery at Cambuslang bus stance until scheduled departure time, then normal route.

Swanage Carnival Procession

King’s Road West will be inaccessible during the Carnival (12:00 – 18:00)

Due to road closures for Swanage Carnival, X50 and X54 services will...

-Be terminating at Argyle Road

-Then turning to begin return run on Argyle Road, and continuing via Kings Road West, boarding passengers from the temporary stop placed there.

Where possible, dedicated staff will be present to ensure buses turn safely

Summer Holiday timetables

The Basildon & Pitsea Carnival returns on Saturday 25th July 2026. 

A few roads will be temporarily closed *rolling road closure* to traffic, from 12:30 to 14:00hrs, whilst the event takes place. 

Due to the location of the road closure - the B3 / B5 / 1A / 25 / X10 will be placed on diversion:

The B5 service will divert in both directions via Southernhay, Roundacre, Upper Mayne and Cranes Farm Road.

Maldon Road (A414), Maldon is closed for overnight roadworks from 27/07/2026 to 06/08/2026.

*This is a timed road closure: the road will be closed nightly between 20:00hrs and 05:00hrs*

Due to the location of the road closure - the 31 / 331 / 333 / 375  will divert in both directions via the B1010 and Fambridge Road.
