High Street, Earls Colne will be closed for roadworks, on a nightly basis, from Thursday 6th June to Saturday 8th June 2024 (between 20:00 and 06:00hrs).
Due to the location of the road closure, the 88/88A service will divert (in both directions) via Coggeshall Road/Colne Road (B1024), A120 and A131.
The following journeys will be placed on diversion:
Armistice Avenue, Chelmsford will be closed overnight for resurfacing works from 20:00 to 05:00hrs on Tuesday 4th June 2024.
Due to the location of the road closure, the C9 service will divert via Centenary Way and Regiment Gate - in both directions.

From Monday 17th June 2024, we'll be introducing Revenue Protection Officers on board our buses in Essex.
Revenue protection officers will be regularly riding on our bus network to ensure everyone is travelling with a valid/ correctly issued ticket. Any tickets purchased from the driver must be retained throughout the journey, and any tickets on our First Bus App must be valid and ready to show.

The bus stop White Court (NE-bound) is temporarily closed and will not be served Monday 3rd June and Tuesday 4th June 2024.

Ongar Road, Writtle will be closed for roadworks from Saturday 1st June to Tuesday 4th June 2024.
Due to the location of the road closure, the C4 service will divert via Lodge Road and Margaretting Road. The bus will use the roundabout (with A414) to turn and return along Margaretting Road. The journey will be paused and resume at next timetabled departure at Loves Walk bus stop.
