[08:36] A major roadworks project starts today (8th De), on A13/A1160 Queensway, Southend Centre. Services 3 / 20 / 21 / 25 / 825 / 27 / 28 / X30 will be impacted.

Expect delays, in and around the area, and on Chichester Road, Warrior Square and Southend Bus Station. Works are expected to be completed by 2027.

B3 / B4 

[13:19] The B3 and B4 services are currently impacted by the following roadworks:

  • High Road, Pitsea has been closed for roadworks - 7 Dec 15:07 - 12 Dec 23:00 GMT (UK Power Networks)
  • High Road, Pitsea has been closed for roadworks - 8 Dec 08:21 - 12 Dec 23:59 GMT (Essex and Suffolk Water)

The B3 and B4 services are unable to serve Station Lane bus stop (eastbound direction only). The B3 and B4 services (towards Basildon) will divert via Hazelmere, Pitsea Hall Lane and Broadway Link until further notice.

[10:39] The B3 and B4 services are currently terminating/recommencing journeys at Broadway, Pitsea. Pitsea Hall Lane has been unexpectantly closed - severe traffic delays in and around the area.

C6 / 336 / 31-331-332-333

[13:24] Baddow Road, Chelmsford has been closed for emergency roadworks. The permit's end date is: 16/12/2025

Due to the location of the road closure - the C6, 336 and 31-331-332-332 services will be placed on diversion:

C6: To divert in both directions via Meadgate Avenue, Longfield Road and Baddow Road. The following bus stops will not be served in both directions: Meadgate Avenue (east-bound direction only) and The Beehive (west-bound direction only).

336 / 31-331-332-333: To divert in both directions via the A1114. The following bus stops will not be served in both directions: Meadgate Avenue, The Beehive, Longfield Road/Chelmerton Avenue, The Blue Lion and The Kings Head.
