Service 77 and 500 | M8 Junction 27-29 West Bound Closure | Diversion
First Bus has partnered with Calderdale Pride organisers to encourage festivalgoers to help lower the carbon footprint of this year’s event on Saturday 16 August.
The bus operator is providing a free special shuttle service to get to the celebrations at Dean Cough Mill in Halifax.
A First Bus double-decker emblazoned with the Pride message will transport visitors from Horton Street opposite Halifax station in the town centre to a bus stop on Dean Clough, a short walk to the mill complex.
Set to go live ahead of the return of schools for the new academic year, improvements will be made to services 3, 3A, 3B, 3C, 3S, 17, 18A, 22A, and 22C.
Services 3 and 3A will see increases in frequency during the morning peak (7:30am – 9am) and afternoon peak (3pm – 5:20pm) to every 10 minutes. Outside of those peak times, the service will also increase from every 15 minutes to every 12 minutes.
Further changes are being made to Services 3 and 3A in Cove to make the service more efficient as well as extend the service to Charleston on Sundays and bank holidays.

Due to roadworks the stop at Bridge Road, Park Gate will be closed on the dates shown.
Passengers are advised to use the temporary stop provided by the works contractors.

Main Road, Bradwell is blocked to larger vehicles by unannounced Openreach works.
Service are to turn around at the junction of Main Road, Batham Road, and Gore Lane (unable to serve the Gap).

There is a road closure both directions between junction of Gower Road and Da-La-Beche Road.
Service 20, 20A, and 21 are being diverted from the Quadrant Bus Station down Oystermouth Road and up Sketty Lane.
Uplands and Sketty Cross are going to be missed for the time being.

The stop at Park Gate will not be served during this diversion.
