Basildon Half Marathon returns on Sunday 13th September 2026.
Multiple roads, in Basildon, are closed to traffic from 08:30hrs to 12:00hrs.
Whilst the event is in progress - the B3 / 25 / X10 will be placed on diversion:

The B3 will divert in both directions via Lincoln Road, Broadmayne and Ashlyns.
The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:
X51 & X53 | A3052
A3052 closed due to repair works.
Between the hours of 20:00 – 07:00 only.
Outbound: for the 05:58 X53 service from Bridport to Axminster ONLY at Charmouth roundabout, A35, Hunter’s Lodge, Lyme Road, Silver Street, Pound Street and continue normal route.
Due to gas works at Longwood, services will terminate at Paddock printers until further notice.
Service 5 Stop Closure, Mullberry Avenue (Golden Bowler), Stubbington Lane.
Monday 7th until Friday 11th September.

Passengers are advised to use an alternative stop.

The road will be closed between the above dates to allow Essex & Suffolk Water works to take place at the junction of Kendal Road.​
Towards Kessingland/Southwold & Norwich will divert from Kirkley Cliff Road, London Road South, Carlton Road, Blackheath Road, The Avenue, London Road South, line of route. ​
