Due to Cadent Gas works on Rainbow Hill on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th March 2025, service 35 will be diverted in both directions.
Service will divert from Lowesmoor via Tolladine Road and Ambleside Drive to resume normal route on Langdale Drive.
Bus stops at Kenilworth Close, Dutton Street, Vauxhall Inn, Green Lane, Chequers Inn, Glenthorne Avenue, Poplar Avenue and Red Dial Parade will not be served in both directions during the closure.
Due to UKPN works taking place on Dereham Road in Easton (near to the Showground), the road will be closed from Wednesday 26th March (08:00) to Sunday 30th March (19:00).
During this time, Excel services will be on diversion and will not be able to serve Easton village. As per previous closures, services in both directions will serve the entrance to the Showground, off the Longwater Interchange roundabout as a temporary stop to allow customers to continue their journey.
Cadent are starting a program of gas main renewals across Brundall in multiple phases, which will affect our bus services in various stages over the next couple of months.
The first phase of work will start on Blofield Road in Brundall, which will close from Monday 24th March to Friday 11th April.
Due to BSIP-funded junction improvements, the junction of Angel Road & Waterloo Road will be closed from Wednesday 19th March to Tuesday 25th March.
Services will omit most of Angel Road - instead they will operate via Magdalen Road, Constitution Hill & Woodcock Road to avoid the closure.

Due to Nexfibre works taking place on Park Road near to Redwing Gardens, the road will be closed from Monday 17th March to Wednesday 19th March.
During this time, service 13 will operate onto Arthurton Road & Giles Road, then directly to Ivy Road and terminate there. Heading back into the city, it will make the right atthe end of Lilian Road, then join Buxton Road to retrace the outbound diversion.
This means that we will not be able to serve the stops on Crostwick Lane, Rosetta Road or Park Road.
Due to urgent bridge repair works taking place each night (20:00 to 05:00) on Saturday 15th March & Sunday 16th March, Excel services will be unable to serve the stops at Sandpiper Way on Nar Ouse Way.
Services will be diverting via South Lynn/Wisbech Road.

Due to temporary lights at Ring Road Beeston Park
Services 2, 3, 3A, 12, 13, 13A are experiencing delays of up to 30 Minutes.
The road has reopened early, and services are back on normal route.

Due to a new sewer connection being installed in Filby - the A1064 will be closed without any access for our bus services from Monday 24th March to Friday 28th March.
Service 7 will operate via the A149 through Rollesby & B1152 through Clippesby to join normal route - meaning that our buses won't be able to serve Filby or Fleggburgh.

Due to ongoing highway improvement works in Fishponds, the New Station Road stop Towards the Centre has been closed.
Passengers are advised that the next available stop will be at Channons Hill outside Morrisons.
We expect the stop to be open again in the late afternoon of the 18th of March.

Due to works taking place on Southtown Road, it will be closed from 20:30 to the end of service on Thursday 20th March.
Service 1 & 8 will both need to divert via Pasteur Road, the A47 & William Adams Way and will consequently be unable to serve any of Southtown Road.
