A team from First Bus in Leeds surprised children at Lydgate Junior and Infant School in Batley with a visit to help its youngest pupils just beginning their education and 11-year olds getting ready to move on to secondary school in September.

A life-size Evie, an electric bus character from Tinyfoot and Evie’s Adventure to Tiny Street, arrived through the school gates to the amazement of the Reception class.

Prince Street and The Grove in Central Bristol will be closed to various service between 08:00 and 13:00 (estimated) on Sunday 29th June to facilitate pot hole repair works.

Services will be diverted and the only bus stops that will be missed will be the ones on Prince Street for services m1 and A1 and passengers are advised to board or alight at Broad Quay bus stop C6 heading towards Broadmead or Broad Quay C5 heading towards Bedminster.
