Rye Road

To allow for resurfacing works on Monday 4th September until the works are complete Rye Road will close.

During the closure the following diversions will be in operation:

Service 8 towards Parkhead

Stage 5 of the Tour of Britain cycle race will take place around Suffolk on Thursday 7th September 2023, starting and finishing in Felixstowe.

To allow for SP works and poor residential parking in the area on Wednesday 30th August until Friday 8th September Langlands Terrace will be closed.

Service X20

Great Dunmow High Street Closure

3rd September 2023, between 07:00 - 19:00

Diversion Route: 
Towards Stansted: After passing Station Road bus shelter, the bus will head right into Braintree Road, then right at the Dunmow Bypass toward the A120. The bus will follow the A120 until it reaches the normal line of route.

Towards Colchester: The diversion route will be as above, in reverse.

Please note that on Thursday 31st August between the hours of 12:30 - 15:30 there will be a diversion on service 4.

Diversion route:

Normal route to Eason View, then left onto Chaloners Road, right onto Moor Lane, Askham Lane, Front Street, Green Lane, using Tudor Road roundabout to return to city.

Stops not served:

Thanet Road, Foxwood Lane Cornlands Road.

Service 87/87U/74B

A134 Colne Causeway closed (between Tesco & Magic Roundabout) from Monday 04th September until Saturday 9th September between the hours of 20:00 – 05:00hrs.

OUTBOUND

Glenfield Road at Muriel Road will be closed overnight from 1800 until 0600 on 21/22 September.  During the closure service 13 will need to divert via Henley Road & Fosse Road North in both directions.

Ambassador Road Junction is due to close for 1 day to repair a sink hole on Saturday 2 September.  During the closure services 15 & 16 will need to divert via Coleman Road, Uppingham Road and Goodwood Road in both directions.
