Kingsland Road, West Mersea is closed for roadworks until 23:59hrs on Wednesday 4th June 2025.

Due to the location of the road closure - the 68 service will be placed on diversion:

Towards West Mersea -

The 68 service will divert via Upland Road and High Street North before terminating at High Street, West Mersea bus stop. The following bus stop(s) will not be served:

  • Barfield Road
  • Melrose Road
  • Church

Towards Colchester City Centre - 

The 68 service will commence journeys from High Street, West Mersea as normal. The 68 service will divert, after serving Barfield Road bus stop, via Barfield Road, High Street North and Upland Road before returning to normal line of route. The following bus stop will not be served:

  • Elmwood Drive
