Southampton Marathon, routes: X4 and X5 Southampton City Centre.

Due to the annual Southampton Marathon Event, all X4 and X5 services will terminate at Woolston Link Road and depart from Fort Road Stop on Portsmouth Road..

Service starting at around 11:00 (Road expected to be blocked from 10:15)
As a result, services are diverted:
86 towards Bramley / Rodley and 16 towards Pudsey Bus Station:
Tong Road, Right, Wesley Road, Left, Town Street
To allow for resurfacing works on Monday 7th April until Friday 11th April Babylon Road will be closed.
To allow for Road Works on Friday 4th April 20:00 until Saturday 5th April 06:00 Balshagray Avenue will be closed.

North bridge is closed; services will divert via St George's Bridge in both directions.
Sandygate Road has now re-opened after earlier unannounced roadworks [11:10 - 03/04/25]
INBOUND services to divert via Selborne Road.
OUTBOUND services are unaffected.

21/21A services will be diverting in Highbridge.
This will mean any bus stops between Highbridge cemetery & Burnham on Sea, sea front, will not be served after 18:30 tonight.
Passengers from Burnham will have to catch the bus from the end of the Espelenade/Sea View Road.

Barkby Road has been closed at the bridge due to emergency gas works.
We will divert as follows:
Outbound: Normal route to Catherine Street/ Barkby Road (L) Wyvern Avenue (like service 4) (R) Troon Way (L) Humberstone Lane back to normal route.
Inbound: Normal Route to Humberstone Lane (R) Troon Way (L) Gleneagles Avenue (R) Barkby Road back to normal route.
These works are due to continue until Thursday 03-04-2025
