Osmandthorpe Ln - Due to flooded bridge

Services to divert via below routes:

To Halton Moor to divert by staying on A64, Right to Selby Rd, U turn at Lucy Ave, Left Halton Moor Ave, Left Neville Rd to Normal Route.

Due to police incident at Salendine nook 

370 to divert by turning right at Crossland Road (Merrie England) to crossroads then turn right to pick up normal route.

371 to divert by turning left on Crossland road to the end of the road, then turning right to pick up normal route.

Flooding on Upwell St

18 & 18A services to divert via Holywell Road, Jenkin Road - in both directions.

Now open and services resuming normal route.

Smith Lane (outside the Hospital) and Thornton Road at four lane ends - Rainfall - Reports that the road is flooded with inches of standing water.

Services are currently encountering delays and proceeding with care and caution.

The following RA1 services will not be operating today due to operational issues:

16:42 departure Reading to Heathrow

18:00 departure Heathrow Terminal 3 to Reading

18:03 departure Heathrow Terminal 2  to Reading

18:24 departure Heathrow Terminal 5 to Reading

Well Street is closed due to a road traffic collision - All affected services to divert via Shipley Airedale Road both ways until further notice.

357 / 357a / 355 / 373 / 372 / 358

Due to coaches parking outside the Cast and blocking the road services are diverted as follows :-

Services towards Doncaster to divert via Chequer Road and College Road (via Police Station).

To allow for resurfacing works Dumbarton Road will be closed at Kelso Street.

Industrial Action Announcement: December 2024

Unite the Union have announced they intend to take industrial action on 19th, 21st, 24th, and 26th December 2024.

A spokesperson for First Solent said:
"We are disappointed at Unite’s decision to announce potential strike action. This will cause severe disruption to the daily lives of our customers in Portsmouth, Fareham, and Gosport who rely on the bus to get to work, education, and for appointments.
