A34 at Trent Vale is currently closed

Services are diverting as follows:

From Trentham Gardens going to Hanford Roundabout, left A500 to the roundabout just before the M6, right onto Newcastle Road and up the hill to Clayton, over the roundabout 2nd exit onto Clayton Road, following to the next roundabout and right onto Stafford Avenue, following this to the Orange Tree then normal route from there.

To allow for carriageway repairs, on Monday 21st July between 09:15 - 15:30, the B8048 to A8011 link road will be closed.

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversion will be in operation:

Service X3 towards Cumbernauld:

To allow for resurfacing works on Monday 21st July until Friday 25th July, Cumbernauld Road between Bowling Green Road and Chryston Road will be closed.

During the closure the following diversion will be in operation:

Service 38C towards Chryston:

Barrier stuck on Call Lane and will be closed from 13:30 to allow for repairs

Service 103 will be reverting back to the Butt Lane diversion, using The Avenue, First Avenue, Cedar Avenue & Congleton Road (inbound and outbound).

To allow for resurfacing works, from Saturday 19th July 08:00 until Friday 25th July 18:00, Cathkin Bypass will be closed.

During the closure the following diversion will be in operation:

Service 21 towards Cochrane Street:

UPDATE: Services are returning to a normal line of route.

Walton Highway will be closed until Wednesday 16th at 16.00

This means that the Excel route will be unable to serve The Highwayman stop at Walton Highway due to the buses having to divert.

To allow for resurfacing, from Monday 21st July until Friday 1st Aug, Kilbowie Road will be closed

During the closure the following diversion will be in operation:

Service 60 towards Clydebank:

Kirklees Council are undertaking works above Huddersfield Bus Station, Due to these works there will be stand closures and reallocation of departures.

From the start of service on Monday 21st July 2025, stands T to Z will be in use. Stands O P Q R & S will be closed, and services reallocated as follows:

Services 57s, 81, 82 & 86 - Monday 14th July until further notice (at all times) approximately two weeks

Angel Street will be closed to traffic towards Snig Hill for roadworks.

OUTBOUND services diverted via Castle Street, Waingate, Nursery Street, Bridgehouses & Shalesmoor.

Inbound services are unaffected.
