Latest News
Between the 4th and 8th December Lake Road in Portsmouth will be closed between Cornmill Street roundabout and Commercial Road North. These works are OVERNIGHT only between 8pm and 6am. Services 3 and 7 will divert in both direction via Station Street, Arundel Street and Holbrook Road. The bus stop in Commercial Road South (Northbound) will also be closed so please cross the road and use the Southbound stop outside CEX. Commercial Road North will not be served. Service 8 is unaffected. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Christmas & New Year buses 2025/26
As we approach the festive season, below we've put all the information you'll need about your local bus services during Christmas period so you can plan your travel with us wherever and whenever you need it.
This year, there will be some slight variations to our services between the Christmas and New Year periods depending on whereabouts on our networks you're travelling... you'll find full details below.

Service(s) affected: 81/81A
Long Road West, Dedham will be closed for roadworks from the 23/11/2023 - 24/11/2023. The road will be closed at all times.
Due to the location of the road closure, the 81/81A service will be placed on diversion and will not serve Long Road West

Runwell Road (A132), Runwell will be closed on a nightly basis (weeknights only), between the hours of 19:00 and 05:00 from Friday 24th November to Saturday 2nd December 2023.
The road is to be resurfaced between St Lukes Park and Rettendon Turnpike. Therefore, there will be no access to St Lukes Park, Rettendon Turnpike and the A130 (north-bound direction).
