We wanted to let you know about minor adjustments to selected timetables this December.

First Bus is targeting improved reliability and punctuality throughout Greater Glasgow by implementing service updates for customers across the city and surrounding areas.

The services benefitting from the network updates set to go live on Sunday 10th December are 7, 7A, 31, 38, 38A, 38B, 38C, 38E, 57, 57A, 75, 206, 208, and 226.

Saint Ives Road, Bournville will be closed from 08:00 Wednesday 9th September until 17:00 Friday 11th September. This will affect service X1.

Service X1 towards Western super Mare Interchange staying on Winterstoke Road resume normal route on Byron Road.

The following bus stops will not able to be served: Holms Rd, Buttermere Rd, Yeo Close

Please use the stops at Asda or Selworthy Road instead.

Service X1 towards Asda normal route to Bryon Road continuing on Bryon Road, resuming normal route on Winterstoke Road.

The next phase of the College Road closure will be starting on 27th November. There will be roadworks on different parts of College Road on 27th, 28th, 29th – until the road is closed on the 30th November for two months. This will cause delays to services 21, 23 and 25.  Please allow extra time for your journey.

UPDATE - 10:00 Wednesday 29th November - Due to the forecast of icy conditions the below works have been CANCELLED until further notice. Further works are planned along Fishponds Road in the coming nights, we will receive an update  tomorrow and this web page will be updated accordingly. Services will operate as normal tonight.

Fishponds Road in Fishponds will be closed in different phases over the next week or so to facilitate line painting works. All works will be overnight between 22:00 and 06:00.

Service X20

Market Hill, Coggeshall will be closed to traffic for a Christmas event on 2nd December from 08:00 - 19:00

During this road closure the X20 will be on diversion:

Towards Braintree/Stansted - From Colne Road, St Peter's Road, East Street and return to normal line of route at The White Heart.

Towards Colchester - From The White Heart, East Street, St Peter's Road and return to line of route onto Colne Road.

During this diversion the following stops will not be served:

Road Closure, Festing Road, Portsmouth.
Route 1 in both directions.

Service 104

Harwich Road, Wix will be closed to traffic on the 29th November - 1st December from 09:30 - 15:30

During this closure the 104 service will be diverted:

Towards Harwich - From Bradfield Road, Clacton Road, Colchester Road, Oak Business Park, A1414 and return to line of route.

Towards Colchester - From School Road, A1414, Wix Road, Oakley Road, Stones Green, Oak Business Park, Wix Road and return to line of route.

During the road closure the following stops will not be served:

Court Farm Road in Whitchurch will be closed to services 73 and SB3 between 07:00 and 10:00 on Friday 14th June to facilitate carriageway works.

Service 73 will drop passengers off by the green on Whitchurch Lane just past Belland Drive.

Service 73 will commence its journey at the Dakota Drive bus stop on Whitchurch Lane just past Belland Drive at the normal departure time.

Service SB3 will pick up passengers off by the green on Whitchurch Lane just past Belland Drive
