Towards Broomfield Hospital

Buses will divert via Navigation Road, Byron Road and Springfield Park Lane to continue line of route.

Union Terrace will be closed in both directions from 09:00 on 31 July until 17:00 on 11 August

Service 3/3A heading from Cove to Mastrick
From Guild Street:
• continue to Wapping Street lights
• left onto Denburn
• 1st exit at Woolmanhill Roundabout onto Woolmanhill
• right onto Rosemount Viaduct
• resume normal route.

Service S1, S2,68 & 81A

Mill Road closure has been extended until Wednesday 26th July between the hours of 20:00 to 05:00.

Towards Colchester City Centre:

After the water tower,  Buses will divert via Olympic Blvd, Urbis Romanae, Mill Road, Turner Road and to the hospital to continue back on line of route.

Lady Lane Closure - Water Works

19th July until 25th July 2023

Diversion Route: 

From Lynmouth Avenue, the bus will go left at Lady Lane, left at Van Diemans Road, around the Army & Navy roundabout to go back into Van Diemans Road, right at Lady Lane, right at Lynmouth Avenue and follow the line of route. 

Queens Road will be one way heading towards the city centre from 09:30 on 24 July until 15:30 on 25 July.

Service 11/11A heading to Woodend/Craigiebuckler
From Queens Cross Roundabout:
• left onto St Swithin Street
• continue to the traffic lights
• right onto Union Grove.
• right onto Forest Avenue
• left onto Queens Road and resume normal route

Service 11/11A heading to Northfield is unaffected, but there will be
temporary lights.

Service 11:

Divert via Bishopthorpe Road in both directions. This service will not serve Southbank Loop.

Bus stops not served: Bishopthorpe Loop.

First Bus South Yorkshire are pleased to announce that they’re taking part in the Derbyshire County Council’s free Sunday morning fare scheme, which offers free travel on the first morning bus service, up until those that are due to depart at 11:59am.

Dates for when the scheme apply include:

From Thursday the 20th of July to Wednesday the 24th of July there will be a closure along Fore Street, Tatworth, Chard.

This will affect service 30.

Buses will be carrying on along the A358 for the duration of this closure.

Between the 26 and 28 July the bus stop eastbound in New Road will be closed for road works in this area. This is the stop near the junction of Kingston Road. Please use an alternative stop during these works. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Radwinter Avenue will be closed on its junction with Golden Jubilee Way and Junction of Salcott Crescent from Wednesday 19th July 2023 to Friday 21st July 2023 between the hours 09:30hrs and 15:00hrs.
