Service Changes from Sunday 5th January 2025

North Station 

20th – 26th October

Towards North Station from City Centre:

After serving Middleborough services will operate via Westway (A134), Colne Bank, Station Way (A134), Essex Hall & Station Way (North Station Layby).

Towards Colchester City Centre from Highwoods / North Station:

After the North Station services will operate via Middleborough/North Hill.

20th- 21st of October 2025 08:00 – 16:00

Highwoods Square – Temporary Access Restriction.

Highwoods Square will not be accessible due to ongoing roadworks.

Service 51: Services will be operating via Derwent Road & Highwoods Square.

Service 51 will still be serving the Highwoods Approach bus stops on both sides of the road.

Service 52: Services will be operating via Eastwood Drive & Highwoods Square.

Highwoods Square will not be served during the roadworks.

There is disruption on Ingrave Road between Queens Road and Wilsons Corner.

The 9 from tomorrow the 15th to 21 October will now divert between Shenfield Common and William Hunter Way in both directions via Middleton Hall Lane and Brentwood Road.

Customers should expect delays during this time. 

We can expect next services on other Basildon services to be amended to account for late running services.

These works were deferred and will commence 20-25 October.

We expect the delays to be significant at peak times.

Customers should plan considering the delays that are extremely likely.

DUE TO EXCEPTIONALLY HIGH TIDES THE FOLLOWING SERVICES FROM COLCHESTER OSBORNE STREET / CR High Steet FOR THE MONTH OF November 2025 WILL TERMINATE AND START AT PELDON.

Colchester Road will be closed on the above dates.

As a result, buses will be terminating at Butler Road Car Park.

Services will operate via Rawreth Lane, A1245, A130 & Chelmsford.

Stortford Road Closed 23/10-27/10 (TIMED CLOSURE EACH DAY 1900-0200) X30

The X30 will divert via  Barnston & the  A120 in each direction.

Services will operate via Eves Corner, Bicknacre,White Swan B1418 & Oak Corner.

To Chelmsford

Services will operate via Oak Corner, B1418 to White Swan & Eves Corner.

B4 Dover way toward Pitsea is suspended.

B3 stop for Northlands toward Basildon. 

Due to works, services are experiencing delays of 15-25 minutes. The works are taking place during the day all day and are permitted until 19/12. We expect there to be delays to the above services and some services may need to be adjusted.
